Wow...such energy and joy in performing here. Before fame got overwhelming, the music to complicated to perform live, and the grind of touring took it's toll. Love this. Does anyone every look happy performing anymore? It's all such a deadly serious "production number." They are just awesome performing live.

I remember as a child when they came out on the Ed Sullivan TV show and we started collecting their albums with Meet the Beatles. I think Twist and Shout was their first single on vinyl, and at the time I didn't think it was that great compared to their other songs like I Want to Hold Your Hand and All My Lovin'. Now T&S is one of my very favorites of theirs, probably due to the Ferris Bueller version.
