Hi there, we did not remove it, we just wanted to illustrate the shape of it and the improved materials over the silicon one from the DF64. The V2 of the DF83 is using two electrical needles inside the shout to decrease static electricity and we can say that it is extremly efficient 🤍☕️👌💯
Hi there! Some grinders produce static electricity while grinding the beans. The ground coffee will stuck in the inside of the grinder and leave some retention. Additionally, the coffee will come out flying and sticks everywhere due to the static electricity. Adding a splash of water will moist the beans and solve the issue 🤍☕️
