If you aren't in love with some of your plants, why not put them up for sale or give them away to viewers in a drawing, as thank you for watching gifts? 💖🌞🌵😷

Danielle, I have the Miltassia Lavender Kiss/Lavender Taffy. It's still a small plant but if it blooms I will let you know. 💚 Susan.

I see now that I'm not alone in struggling with oncidiums. My favorite orchids, water hogs, easy to grow and bloom, but those ROOTS! Why do they do that? Mine are just like yours, they either look great or they're a mess. I grow mine in bark so I don't think the medium makes any difference, they're just temperamental prima donnas. I am going to transfer some of them to water again and give it another try.

I find certain Intergenerics tend to have crummy roots, like the Bellara for instance. If you mess up the roots on a new growth your in big trouble. Very finicky plants.
And like you say, water hogs, so if you don’t keep them hydrated properly in the warmer temperatures, there go the roots.
However in the winter to much water and…..there go the roots.
      😳🤨🤓
I always thought the miltoniopsis were the hardest to keep happy but they are all doing great!
Temperamental prima donnas seems to sum it up 🤣

Eileen, I put mine in WC and now the Sharry Baby that never bloomed has a spike. It took me a long time to realize that Oncidium roots need water, but also need air. Bark didn't work, so when I re-did WC I kept water levels low so that most of the roots also get air.

Some Phalaenopsis take extraordinarily long to snap out of it. But they do eventually come around. It certainly sounds like you are doing everything right.
Could you increase the light slightly? Some Phals like more light and will stay slightly dormant if it’s not bright enough.
Are you fertilizing? Perhaps add a kelp/seaweed supplement to the fertilizer. This type of supplement has hormones in it that may trigger your plant to grow.
I will be posting my Phalaenopsis collection beginning next week and I will share how long some of them took to turn around and start growing again.
