Was out in the forest last weekend and all the campgrounds are open again! We took our bathroom break at big scrub lol. First time Jeep owner. We just got a 2017 wrangler sport unlimited. Look forward to more videos. Maybe see y’all on the trail soon!
Great job, Matt! Felt like we were driving it all over again. Man, I didn’t realize how much damage your top received! I’m so glad I waxed the Jeep body the day before. No scratches there, but my soft top windows got a few more pinstripes! The price we pay! Thanks again for an awesome day!
@@FloridaJeepRides Now that will be great..We beach drive up here in NC at Corova Beach where some wild horses live.You can drive up to the Virginia border.
Ran the south end yesterday. It is pinstripe central for sure. My black Gladiator is wearing lots of battle scars. Its ceramic coated but those branches were tougher. I knew the risks going in and its small price to pay to earn that badge of honor....its a Jeep its should be muddy and trail toughened. There were also lots of downed trees blocking the trails that we needed to clear as we went. The winch got a workout with some of the larger trees. We had a blast but if your worried about scratches this is not the trail for you.
Great video - I’m hoping to run the Southern half when I’m down from Virginia in February. Any chance the route is available on Gaia, Avenza or All Trails - a link to this would be greatly appreciated. When I lived in Fla, ran several Safari Triathlons (90’s) there - great fun!!!
FloridaJeepRides thanks for the Gaia map - I’ll be down there solo in late February, will do my best to not turn my ride into a long hike out. First time back wheeling in Ocala since the Safari Triathlons many moons ago. Thanks again!

Thank you - It all buffed out. A harbor freight buffer and some scratch remover and its all good.

Ocala Pinstrips
I don't know if they do prescribed burning like MWAs but there is a lot of scrubby oaks on the trail sides.
