Woah, you promoted Parish but not Kudzu Seafood Company? You walked right past it. They're the Louisiana cuisine that's been in business in downtown Macon long before Parish showed up. They're a family owned restaurant and are always busy, plus they have live music performances upstairs on their outdoor patio & bar. Wow. Not to mention Sweet Eleanor's Divine Desserts you passed by right next door after that. 😮 Macon Water Ice is also a wings and burger joint. You get a sweet cool ice treat and some savory food to go along with that.
I don't drink, but Downtown Macon is full of breweries and Fall Line Brewery is one of the most beautiful spaces for weddings and events. (Don't get me started on the latter.) Theirs and several others' brews are made right here in downtown, even brewed in-store. It's a real thing. The beer crawls and beer fests are growing annual events. You've just barely scratched the surface.
JBA, Late Night, the Crazy Bull, Grant's Lounge, Serenity, even Reboot Retrocade & Bar do night life with music via a live act (bands, soloists, hip-hop MCs) or DJs (including silent discos, DJ spin-offs, karaoke). It's not downtown, yet you might as well mention Society Garden. It's a real social spot & crowd pleaser when it comes to live entertainment.
Tattnall Square Park is one of many incredible parks in Macon. You think that's hot? Check out Amerson River Park or Washington Memorial Park. There are even more than that with trails for walking, running, biking, workouts, picnics, events, and family outings! I haven't even been to them all!
There's usually just the one weekly farmer's market with fresh meat, fresh produce, homemade & home grown everything like baked goods, jerkies, essential oils, wild shrimp, steaks, flowers & plants, herbal teas, jewelry, etc., every Wednesday. They even honor food stamps.
The Christmas lights you keep referring to is the annual Christmas Lights Extravaganza. It's improving every year.
We have museums, art galleries, theaters, creative spaces, co-working/shared spaces, retail shops and boutiques, comic book stores, and old school record stores.
Check out Macon's Welcome Center (visitmacon.org - which will entice and intrigue) and NewTown Macon (a site listing endless possibilities) for a list of all the awesomeness of downtown and the surrounding areas that Macon has to offer. Again, you've barely scratched the surface. You guys should really get out here more. Immerse yourselves and have some more fun so you can really tell your audience what to expect.

My guy... you barely went into any of the places you mentioned and provided next to no information about most of the places on the list... what about Downtown Grill, Monkey's Paw, rooftop drinking at Kudzu, Barks and Brews
