KTM outsourced their lower end and some enduro bikes' suspension manufacturing to Endurance under WP suspension licence. So this WP suspension is actually a WP suspension but made by Endurance as per WP's R&D and specifications. Endurance is not allowed to sell by replicate or rebrand the same specific suspension. My friend who replaced his 390 suspension to xpulse recently changed it back to stock because he said the bike was a bit unstable at high speeds and corner especially when loaded up with luggage. please share your experience in the long run :) also Have you considered Zedling suspension?.. it's a bit more expensive compared to xpulse alternative but zedling is custom made for the user. you have to tell them your requirements and other details.
Nice upgrade. If you feel the ride is too soft with all the luggage, you might want to harden the suspension, I think it should work nicely unless going beyond 120kmph Waiting for the update
Would this be a good decision for a Duke390, I am more into acceleration n fast cornering, with a little off road trips here n there. Should I stick with the stock monoshock set up or shift to the xpulse?
If you work out the math. The stiffer the suspension. The more stable the bike will be at high speeds and at corners. Soft setup is mostly for off-roading.
I have both adventure 390 and Xpulse 4v, I don't agree with this, I always felt adventure 390 has the better suspension compared to xpulse 4v. when riding Xpulse 4v, you can feel all patholes bumps directly hitting your back of excess rebound. So I'd suggest stick to stock adv390 suspension
Please do share your experience with a pillion rider how it affects the rebound. Especially while cornering (how much speed is safe speed). Thanks a lot in advance.
Definitely will do bro. It gives a different feel to the bike, like i said in video, will take time to adjust, which i am willing to do as my priority is a soft ride rather than a bumpy one.
I bought adv 390 its been 10-15 days First its windscreen rattle on rpm above 6-7000 And a wierd sound is coming from chain or engine i dont know possible chain Is it common or should i get it checked ?
I am not sure how people evaluate such critical changes on a motorcycle which is specifically for long touring use. Changing a Shock absorber on a motorcycle changes a lot of dynamics on the motorcycle and please stop calling it suspension, shock Absorbers are part of a suspension and not suspension independently. Understand your motorcycle first in order to upgrade it. Weight, riding dynamics, sensors, braking, tyres, your weight and your requirements. Apex is a 10 step adjustable shock absorber and can be adjusted for softer and harder setup, the drawback of this shock absorber is that it is stiff that means, the rebound is really bad. What do you do? Find a motorcycle or a shock absorber which is fitted in a similar or higher weight class (link shock absorbers don't fit, trust me, i tried them) and then see of the bolts fit. How's the rebound and compression and what is the travel and capacity. Then you switch, test and finally accept the upgrade. I own a 7 year old AS200, 60k on odo, people told me to replace with Duke 200 shock absorber, I was curious but, it did not make sense to load a bike with a less capable SA so, I replaced it with BS4 RC390 instead, a little expensive but, the rebound and compression.....Bhutan, Arunachal and Sikkim and the riding dynamics are just amazing. I had to adjust it up two notches but boy is it magical. Please understand, DETAILS.
Absolutely Amazing. The ride is much more comfortable offroad. Stay connected as I just did a 6hr off-road ride yesterday and will be uploading the video shortly .
For front suspension, once you change the oil, add polytron to it. MTC. 10% value of the fork oil and reduce that much fork oil. You will see lot of improvement
What a shame! The motorcycle is made in India but is not supplied with adjustable suspension there! Due to road conditions, it is very important that they provide this. How much does it cost in india? In New Zeeland it costs an equivalent of ₹5.75 lakhs.
And that's called a modification not put a light and few stickers and random things and made a video saying modification. And great job of breaking a fake hype about suspension. Kids always brag about these things without knowing the basics. This proves that Indian brands are not useless in front of foreign brands as the parts of both of them are manufactured in the same factory.

Zedling suspension is a great option for KTM and Dominar folks. Should look it up .. for those serious about it.
I though about zedling but felt its expensive..hence trying this for some time. Hopefully it works well.. will keep sharing feeback
Zedling is worst ,I don’t recommend it for ktm adv,
@@lhawang1991 i too heard lot of reliability issues for zedling and plus it's way too expensive

Would've been helpful if you measured length and/or laid the two shockers side by side.

Can I put the xpulse suspension on my dominar 400 ?
Can we do this on normal duke 125? Even stock suspension are hard in that too
Does adventure 390 stock suspension is compatible for xpulse????
does the xpulse suspension has more height than the adv 390
How about a high speed ride with these suspensions. Does the bike remain stable at a speed of 120-140?
Can we use in KTM ADV 250 ??? Please reply

Fantastic information, presented in a nice way, Kudos to you, between Benelli trk 502x and 390 adv which one you suggest.
502 for amazing touring experience.. 390 for cheaper maintenance and lighter bike feel.
Awesome, any solutions for the front suspensions?
There are solutions but didnt want to change both together

Should be a direct fit

Hello...Can u pls suggest more comfortable rear shockers for Hunter 350 coz...the original one is somewhat much stiffer...
Go for classic 350 sudpension
