There's only one draw back of this fantastic bag that its material doesn't repel dirt. It will look like ages old just after one trip. I used it for our Surat-Goa return trip and it went all dirty and bit muddy, even after multiple wash with various materials, it has gone complete patchy. Utility wise its an absolute helpful product for touring. I will also recommend using a bungee strap for better stability as provided belts wont go complete tight on grab rails and other curvy parts.
The most sane thing is to not install any other crash guard. I completely agree. One may not believe that crash guards add significant enough weight to change 390 ADV's handling. The stock ones are not only great but also the plastic pieces on either sides of fuel tank are pretty sturdy and dirt cheap to replace if they are scratched or broken. The fuel tank is never damaged in normal crashes.. God forbid. I will reserve my comment on the jerry cans however, because in my experience almost nowhere did I find the use of extra fuel. Black mein har jagah milta hai and tank can be refilled. Please bhai do carry the fuel net (filter) before filling because of dirt in the stored petrol containers at remote places. Not sure what routes are you taking so not judging your decision to carry. Fuel is everywhere i think. Godspeed

Very minimalistic and practical. Good job. I am just concerned about the jerry can sitting directly near the exhaust. Hope that doesnt catch too much heat in offroad terrain with the bike running at 1st gear.
I believe this is the cleanest and efficient touring setup i have seen. If all goes well, i should get my 390 in a couple of weeks. Will take this reference.

The right side petrol tank could be dangerous as it is slightly above the exhaust hole. It is hazardous think about it.
I live in Shimla - Manali and i never went past Baralachal la. And here he is going Leh every year 🤣😂

@Bulu I think you should fit a GPS holder and mount the RAM mobile holder on it to keep your phone in your peripheral vision. That'll offer a bit more safety when riding and navigating.

I have rynox drystack saddle and navigator tail bag, I ride with pillion, so i need tail extender, the tail bag is saggy, but it has insert slot, I will insert a chopping board inside 🤣 I managed with a plywood in my old bike, but that gixxer wobbled if I leave hand, need to plan little better! I need a tank bag very soon! 😮💨 Also little confuse what brand I should go for for these saddle stay and tail rack
I want to plan this ride on my Ather 450x but there is limitations of charging so not possible in 2023.

Hi Bulu Bhai! Pls tell me which mobile holder you are using on this bike. I want a very good mobile holder for my dominar. As you know dominar has vibration, so I need a very good tight grip mobile holder for it. Want to fit that in 2022 model which has specific mobile holder place at the front.

Dirtsack Luggage is any day better than Rynox. Solace tank bag is better than Navigator for KTM adv. Used them for more than 7k Kms. Rynox Jacket protectors are very hard. It is better to invest once in Alpine Star or RS Taichi than spending huge amount on Rynox
Bulu bhai mera ek sawal tha mere pass fz25 hai around 4 years se 3 saal kuch bhi problem nai huwa but abhi har 2 ya 3 mahine me baar baar fuel injector or fuel pump me kachra a jata hai .aisa kyu aur 3 saal se aisa kuch nai huwa plz meri help karo isme thanks

My KTM adv was only 87 kms and there was knocking noises from the engine. Got no support from KTM Chennai. The only thing I hear is that I don’t have to worry about anything since my bike is under warranty, if at sorts of engine failure happens it will cost you 0 bucks. End of convo from service centres. I really doubt that this bike is really good for long routes or such and I really doubt it’s realisability. I am really saddened by this fact that even before I started my adv journey, am at a big halt for now. Really don’t know how to proceed further. Idk whether it was a good decision to buy a KTM. Hurts to see hard earned money go into waste.
