I can't really explain why but this film tears me apart! I end up sobbing bitter tears, and I'm a pretty thick skinned person. I relate to the bat, that bat is me. I love to defecate and comb myself and drink water.
One might be tempted to question how pointless existence is, but, one might also be tempted to question what pointedness there would be to non-existence, as well, I wager!

From the start to end this is an advanced piece of art, I can see that the author has gone through the viccitudes of life. I cried actual, heavy tears when the mother licked his anus after he defecated, the SYMBOLISM. The lessons that can be taken from this are endless

...beautiful bat tale...nice pacing erecting one bat's existence in the dark backdrop of a cave we never really see. (Makes me think of Emile Cohl.)
