Thanks for another thorough, informative video. Your channel is a must subscribe for TT owners, especially those of us who have a Lance. I did shelves in my side closets, but opted for the easy way out using wire shelves and command hooks. No matter, we love having additional useful storage.
Thanks again Henry, I appreciate the feedback and you watching. I like the wire shelves to but decided to make some. we really like this Lance and now that we have the additional storage space its perfect for us. Happy New Year
Another great project well done. You do quality work on your projects. I added some shelves myself but had the problem of the good old thin paneling on some of the walls. Couldn’t drill so I had to use the support legs to hold them up. Keep the projects coming.
Thanks so much Henry. I know what you are saying about the thin paneling, our Rockwood had it but the Lance has 1/2" throughout the trailer :) I'm happy you were able to use the support legs, the extra storage space is great to have. Happy New Year
I bought it a local lumber yard and it was 5/8" - I forgot the name of the wood I used I think it might be Birch plywood but I'm not sure. You can use 1/2" plywood and you will be fine, just find the plywood grain you will like to use with stain or paint. And with 1/2" plywo0d you can use the same clips used for 5/8' if you can't find 1/2" clips. Cabinet Shelf Clips - amzn.to/3RtWCx5
@@thetraveltrailerguyI already bought the 5/8 Brackets. HD has some prefinished wood shelving that is 5/8 and almost perfect for the width of 12". I can get 3 shelves out of it.
@@pauls7751 That's great news Paul, this will save you lots of time, money, and work :) I'm happy it worked out for you. www.youtube.com/@thetraveltrailerguy/videos
Great job. And the stain you picked out is perfect. Well done sir
Thank you, it turned out pretty good and sure added some much needed additional storage space. Thanks again
Well done as usual Michael. Thanks. We want to wish you a blessed new year as well.
Thanks so much buddy. I hope you have a great 2024 and less snow this winter :) take care
Thanks for linking what color you used, we are planning on putting extra shelves in those same cabinets on our Lance!
Your welcome and thanks for watching and commenting :) www.youtube.com/@thetraveltrailerguy/videos
I want to do this to my RV. But I have to buy one first 😊
Awesome, what RV's have you been looking at?

Did you use 5/8" plywood for the wardrobe shelves? I was at Home Depot and they don't carry 5/8 plywood. Just 1/2" and 3/4"
