Carter flagrant on CC and laughing it up with WItherspoon and Reese was a problem. Angel Reese will be the next that wont get an offer. Both players are toxic for team culture.
@@back2sportsyou can argue Paige is a worse playmaker than Miles. Given how weak PG play in the WNBA is and how so few assists leads the league each year, you can argue that Miles’s playmaking puts her over the top. But it’s not just about basketball, it’s about business too and Paige has her beat there
@ miles is shooting 40%+ on higher volume this year. I’m not convinced of Paige as a playmaker at all, which makes me question how good of a pg she can really be.
Its crazy to me, that you're getting more flack for suggesting Paige doesn't want to go Dallas. Especially when "trusted" media members (Howard Megdal) within the women's basketball space are making these claims as well.
Caught me off guard as well. I thought it was pretty tame video. Seems pretty obvious back channels that she is not keen to go to Dallas. Megdal is pretty plugged in.
It’s only delusional UConn/Bueckers fans who don’t want the 'bad' (and it isn’t even bad) press, and the craziest sect of Clark fans who dislike Bueckers and want her to struggle from the start rather than find her footing quickly with a strong core (Rickea/Cameron/Dearica), giving people grief for talking about it at this point. Most of the Bueckers/UConn people aren’t sports fans, at least not in the traditional sense, and don’t really understand how this works, so I cut them some slack. But not even a day after the draft, a story dropped about her preferring the Sparks over the Wings (clearly planted by her agent). Howard, who's been in the WNBA space, like, even before it was 'cool' to be in it, has spoken with execs and scouts who have confirmed her preference for the Sparks, with several suggesting she might take extraordinary measures to avoid ending up in Dallas. Reputable reporters with The Athletic, like Merchant, are saying the same. The last one missing in the trinity is Annie Costabile (who’s basically a WNBA oracle), and when she reports it and the Bueckers fangirls still deny it... the jig will really be up. And I don’t even like Paige that much, but I really don’t blame her. Not only would she be signing up for 4 years with a dumpster fire that has a future much dimmer than that of the Sparks, but she’d also have to worry about 2-3 additional core years.
Why do y’all keep tryna push this narrative she has never said nothing about not wanting to play for the wings, that’s what the fans want for her. The sooner everybody accepts she’s going to Dallas the better
It’s the worst run organization in the WNBA. Why would Paige willingly waste her career there while Arike tries to live out her fantasy of wanting to be & play like Kobe? (In other words, wildly inefficient & not conducive to long-term winning)
Paige's baby Azzi will probably stay at UConn for a 5th year that would be why she wants to stay It's not about Dallas.I hope she leaves so the other guards get a chance to play. I see Azzi Fudd playing for the Valkries in California next year because of her close connection to Steph Curry.
@@back2sportsso is Indiana also a dead spot? That seems like an old LA and NY talking point that doesn’t hold anymore. The biggest star in women’s basketball, Caitlin Clark, came from Iowa and plays in Indiana!
Let me preface by saying I really don't care. I don't watch the W, and can't imagine starting. It's far too political, with racist and sexist overtones, to attract my attention. The college game is going that way as well; perhaps I won't be able to watch that any more either (OK Boomer, I know, but I won't apologize. I like teams where people play for the love of the game, not the money.) But that is by the by. Paige really is too old to play in college. That's not really an option. But she might go overseas and play for a year, or just sit out. If she doesn't declare for the draft, she doesn't get drafted. She's got a ready-made excuse in the contract situation, as rookie contracts are widely expected to be much higher for the '26 season. There's no reason to get tied down to a long term contract now. She also has the option of not declaring and just showing up at camp and trying out for any team she likes. If she did, it's hard to imagine any team telling her no, especially since she's already stated she wants to play there just by applying. That might force the TPTB on the team into a tough decision, but so what? It won't tarnish her rep any, or the team's. That said, it really is a shame about Dallas. I might buy a ticket and go to a game or two if Paige was there, since I live in Fort Worth. I don't care about Arike or Satou or even Jacy, but I could watch a team with Lou Lopez and Maddy Siegrist and Paige on it. Stephanie Soares is also a draw for me. Without Paige it wouldn't be enough; I have a hate-hate relationship with Dallas. But with, maybe. That might convince me to cross the Trinity River.
Why are you here? And the ones who are with the racist and sexist overtones are not the WNBA players, it the people who like to put on the white hoods. Go away.
Yep and I don't care about political stance , religion or any of those things. Over all just care about if you put ball in basket & if can stop other team .

The Bueckers situation is ingtriguing, but the age thing is BS. Nobody complained about Dorka. And with the COVID year and injury redshirts, there have been planty of 23 year olds playing in college. Trying to make an issue out of a non-issue. Haters gonna hate.
If Connecticut doesn’t win the national championship this year, I would love to see Paige back at Connecticut for another season. She and easy wanted to play together and due to injuries have had so few together, why not? The age thing is crap. And with Dallas getting the number one pick I wouldn’t wanna be in Texas…
Don't see her returning. Texas is fine. The problem is the wings
Well, UConn is NOT going to win the 2024-25 Natty, so get ready, she may be back but that would be a truly ridiculous move on her part.
Dallas might just do a draft swap with LA plus Sheldon for Jackson.
Another mistake to make of sky hello Cooper and Gabby😂😂😂😂
The wings imo would be really foolish to trade satou and the one for rickea and the 2. I think Rickea and the 2 is the asking price for paige alone and she’s arguably worth it. Satou added its a no brainer if you think she resigns
I would take Jackson over Rickea. But I don't think Satou is going to stay healthy. Hope I am wrong but she has had a number of injuries
Carter flagrant on CC and laughing it up with WItherspoon and Reese was a problem. Angel Reese will be the next that wont get an offer. Both players are toxic for team culture.
Can't let the CC thing go, HUH!
@@Vader-tm5lm It is just an indicator of how she thinks. She is childish and emotional. Thats not professional.
Will Dallas even pick Paige? She hasn't been close to the best player in college this season
Bigger and more Consistent shooter than miles. But yes they could go Kiki due to last year's mistake of taking Sheldon over edwards
@@back2sportsyou can argue Paige is a worse playmaker than Miles. Given how weak PG play in the WNBA is and how so few assists leads the league each year, you can argue that Miles’s playmaking puts her over the top. But it’s not just about basketball, it’s about business too and Paige has her beat there
@@harveycminusmansfiel it about the 3pt shot and of can hold up on defence.
@ miles is shooting 40%+ on higher volume this year. I’m not convinced of Paige as a playmaker at all, which makes me question how good of a pg she can really be.
@@back2sports You're way off here, I have to disagree with you.
Paige is already old for college, she can't go back.
@@virgilwimberly2071 will she can but wont
She has a COVID year if she wants it.
@ exactly that’s your feelings not hers and they made a lot of changes
Yes she might go to Dallas and serve her 5 years and then leave like Gray & sabaly or maybe she will go Elway. TBD
PB is NOT going to be the #1 pick anyway, not even #2 or #3.
Sometimes you need a team player over skills and Chennedy is a liability. Why do you think she’s been on so many teams in her career?
Paige's baby Azzi will probably stay at UConn for a 5th year that would be why she wants to stay It's not about Dallas.I hope she leaves so the other guards get a chance to play. I see Azzi Fudd playing for the Valkries in California next year because of her close connection to Steph Curry.
Na, Steph is waiting on Lay Fulwiley, not Fudd.
They will offer her, just watch
If they don't then they are dumb
Why wouldn't Paige go to DAL? Is it because of Arike and the "slow/one dimensional" bigs?
@@laideevalynteena8172 endorsements Dallas is the dead.zone of wnba
@@back2sportsso is Indiana also a dead spot? That seems like an old LA and NY talking point that doesn’t hold anymore. The biggest star in women’s basketball, Caitlin Clark, came from Iowa and plays in Indiana!
Chennedy takes a negative culture and attitude with her and won't be welcome many places, despite the fact she's a great player.
Jefferson is a trash GM
Let me preface by saying I really don't care. I don't watch the W, and can't imagine starting. It's far too political, with racist and sexist overtones, to attract my attention. The college game is going that way as well; perhaps I won't be able to watch that any more either (OK Boomer, I know, but I won't apologize. I like teams where people play for the love of the game, not the money.)
But that is by the by.
Carter is psycho!
Paige definitely going #1 😂
Its real simple , you cant win a championship with a low character player on your team.
Or if your team can't put the ball in the basket efficiently.
Carter is best two guard in the WNBA and was Chicago's leading scorer, the disrespect Jeff is showing her prove he's not professional and serious about making the Sky a better team. Jeff needs to go!
Clearly sky have too much offence and need to let her go. LOL
@back2sports LOL!
