I just love watching your switching videos, you have a good place to go catch a lot of action up in Pennsylvania
This is one of the best switching videos I have ever seen.
Thanks, Man.
Superb😎I shall watch this a few times as yard work is exactly what I want to see. Fabulous, this has made my Saturday👍
Thanks, AG.. I'm glad I could bring a little joy to your day!
Nothing more relaxing than watching locos shunting. Regards from UK.
Thanks, John.. Welcome to America.
NS #3468 sweet horn & sound. awesome video. #3050 cool horn. sweet sound of these SD40-2's. sound like they have 645E motor's. very cool.
That's right.. 645Es and doin' just fine!
Amazing how the types of locomotives changed around here in a few short years. I'm a little late viewing this footage but man it's pretty cool looking back on this!!
Again, You have the best shots & clearest video!
Keep up the Fantastic videos!!
Thanks, Dave.. I'll most certainly try ;-)
Dave McMullen
great NS yard video ...
Thanks, David.. I'm glad that you enjoyed it..
Nice yard work.
Woah!! NS 3468’s horn is absolutely awesome!
Yard switching is always neat to see! Very cool video!
In 2017 I'm going to be putting a lot more emphasis on switching and/or yard maneuvers.
Looking forward to them,...will be interesting to watch!
Trains21 nice leslie on 3468
Just gotta love those SD40's they are a great engine for so many uses. Watch the "Pemberton Pushers" in BCR land, four SD40's as helpers.
Beautiful work!
Hi this is a video of yours I havent seen yet I like all your videos that I have seen
Dave
Thanks, Dave.
nice catch and I loved the pan am locomotives
Thanks, JT.. Glad you liked
Trains21 thank yourself you made it.
:-)
That Pan Am SD40-2 recently exploded while on the head end of a train in Maine. It had an oil line leak into the turbo charger, which made it go boom.
Excellent video! -Austin
Thanks, Austin.. I'm glad you liked it.
Oh man I remember back in the winter 3052 was faded badly, now she looks good. And she's the trailing unit for the Pittston jobs happening right now!!!
That is cool!
Excellent video.
Thanks, Hans.
I love all of your videos
Thanks, Donald.. I'm glad that you like them.
Great Job! Keep up the good work!
Thanks, I will!
nice job again its funny to see people that hit the dislike button on peoples videos
Yeah, I know.. I don't expect everyone to like my vids but I don't see the need to go around bringing down creators ratings either... And thanks for the kind words as always.
Awesome video!
Thanks Santa Fe!
I wonder if PanAm Railways is missing #608 Loco??? Being June 2020 and all... Well, the description mentions that #608 SD40-2 is DISABLED! Actually, where I live in MA now, MEC/GRS/PanAm Railways switches in E Deerfield Yard. Come to mention it, I've not seen #608 passing through E Deerfield in the last 4 years...
MEC 608 SD40-2
MEC 610 SD40M-2
MEC 613 SD40M-2
went to LTEX in May 2019
Pan Am SD40M-2s MEC 617 & 618 went to LTEX in September 2019
All the retired SD40-2s were scrapped at Waterville Maine in December 2020
MEC 601 SD40M-2
MEC 602 SD40
MEC 603 SD40M-2
MEC 605 SD40-2
MEC 607 SD40-2
MEC 611 SD40M-2
MEC 612 SD40M-2
MEC 609 614 615 went to the Winchester & Western RR
Active remaining SD40-2s are
MEC 600 SD40-2
MEC 604 SD40-2
MEC 606 SD40-2 Snoot Nose
MEC 619 SD40M-2 trail only
MEC 3400 SD40-2
MEC 3401 SD40-2
MEC 3402 SD40-2
MEC 3403 SD40-2
MEC 3404 SD40-2
MEC 3405 SD40M-2 used to be MEC 616
Отличное видео. Я в этом видео увидел как работают железнодорожники США. Класс мне очень понравилось. В России это называется маневровые работы.
LOVE the sound of those EMD locomotives,...WAY better than GE!
Yes.. I love the way that the EMDs sound too.. Very nice.. :-)
Cheers I have subscribed.
Thank you, John.. Much appreciated.
That would be the last time the 608 ran, Pan Am recently retired it from the roster. If I recall it used to be a MILW bicentennial unit.
Cool.. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
I thought pan am was a airline but right at the front of this video is engine Pan Am 608
what size is that engine? Dave
Yes, they were.. But they went under decades ago and Timothy Mellon, owner of Guilford Transportation bought the name, logo and colors and began using on his engines and also renamed the railroad Pan Am Railways.
Did NS give you permission to be in the yard? They frown opon tresspassers
One doesn't need to trespass to video yard action.. Some yards has public streets or county roads that one can watch, take photos or video from.
Of course in some cases zoom can be your friend.
We also frown UPON people spelling wrong but yet it still happens daily 😂
Where's Taylor Yard?
Scranton, PA (south side)
He has the ditch lights on on the wrong side lol
I went there recently and saw... NOTHING!
That's odd.. But sometimes things are slow.
ITS NOT DISABLED ITS RUNNING I CAN SEE SMOKE COMING OUT OF IT!
Trust me, it's disabled.. The railway workers told me so.. That's why it's sitting there.
A couple questions
The two Rail Box cars at 10:22 had different reporting marks on them: TBOX and FBOX. Are they leased by different companies?
PanAm Railways was New England Central at one time, correct?
