How did he blow the motor so soon especially at only 400whp? 400whp isn’t a problem at all for the 4b11. Then on the same cylinder again? Seems like whoever built the engine didn’t have much of an idea on how to build it. That or the tuner didn’t do a good job at it. I know a good number of built Evo’s making 500whp or more that has ran way longer than his. I’ve had mine at 500whp for a while now and I’ve had no issues. Maybe it’s my luck or my good tuner lol or maybe it’s because I don’t beat on it every day, but I do preventative maintenance checks every so often so I guess that counts.

I absolutely agree. I’ve been 500+ hp for almost 2 years now. Over 30k miles in that time. Stock long block and stock clutch. I was 28psi for a while then turned it up to 30psi

This is my car. Yeah it was tuner problems. Changed motor builder and tuner and car has been making roughly 800 hp for well over 10k miles now

Gti better on gas and cheaper by a little q50 3.7 isn’t best on gas but reliable and the 3.0t are reliable I’ve heard but they’re pricey
