Driven both, and I have owned an f80 base, f80 comp and currently own an f82 CS, I chose the CS over the G80/82. G80/82, I see them all the time, I've seen exactly 2 CSs in my life. The G80 felt a little too high tech, too easy to drive. I like the rawness and "race car" feel of the CS and that it looks "special".

I'm coming from an e46 and when I got to drive my friends g80....it was insane. Honestly, I'd be scared to daily it because of how powerful it is lol. Fantastic machine nonetheless and I'm itching to get one! Great vid!

Interesting how different they sound despite the motors being so similar. Even though a lot of people shit on the way the S55 sounds, I actually like it because it’s unmistakable. The deeper tone of the S58 just doesn’t stand out to me as much.

I was a pro skater in NYC since 2001, and the dunk hype stared to kick up around that time. I used to camp out of Union, Stash, Supreme, etc for couple dayz to score a pair. I still have the DS Heineken, the whole supreme dunk stars highs / cement lows, pigeons, Dany Supa dunks. I normally have my buddies camp with me to cop 2 pairs so I can wear em to skate n seal the other pair. 02-08 it’s the best dunk sb era!

I love it loud I’ve driven with my turbo cat bolted to turbo then nothing and loved it I want to do a hood exit on my Saab would you see issues with that being a daily??? Also would I have to get my car tuned if all I do it change exhaust to a hood dump or can I run a stock ecu still until I feel like getting a tune?

I love love LOVE your car. My first car was a gold 1979 Datsun 280ZX. It was the base model, like yours. Hub caps, crank windows, non digital clock... It's your car. I can't tell you what to do but PLEASE keep it original!!
