OMG dude, not just the quality of your tutorials, but your way of teaching is so GOOD and COOL! I have teachers in my music college, but you're the best in terms of motivation (and in piano abilities)! I love the way you make piano look so easy to play. Thank God that my mates are starting to see the same in me; they tell me: "When you play the piano, you make it look easy to play". I'll try the PWJ trial membership soon! =D Bless you :) Greetings from Mexico

Thanks!! To be honest, almost everything I learned on piano is from my teachers or things I learned on the "street" - just playing piano for thousands of professional events like weddings, corporate parties, and of course, over 9 years as the Disneyland pianist playing in 4 different shows. You really have to do it in order to understand it, and so many teachers teach because they can't "do".

Hello sir,let me introduce myself first,i'm Yonatan from Indonesia,i'm 18 years old.
Here,i'm very excited with your playing piano.I was surprised when i wacthed how you combine all stuff and style of music like jazz, latin, and boogie.I'm very like it.I was following you since 1 year ago and learning your play.
I want to know , who is your influence that you can become a great player like now?
Is that like Oscar peterson , Jaki Byard,or else? And i hopefully you can teach us more about latin and some various stuff. Thanks sir!

It seems minimum wage at Indonesia varies from region, at U$82 - U$232 range. So, for a 18yo indonesian, 30U$ monthly may represent quite an investment. Maybe you could offer a membership discount for those from less privileged (financially, of course) countries? BTW, membership is totally worth the investment, there's plenty of amazing content on Jonny.com...

Hi Jonny! I just found your channel and subscribed. I play the piano in my middle school jazz band, and I was wondering if you could give me some tips on remembering how to play all the different chords put in a song, cause I can never fully play all the different chords that are put in a song before we play it at a concert, and I have a huge band competition coming up.

Thank you very much. I was going to give up piano.... All I could play was boring, repetitive pop songs. I wanted to be able to play jazzy songs and more intricate pieces, which you made easier for me. It was my brother's birthday and, I was sick and tired of playing the boring right-hand-only happy birthday and so I checked out some videos. All of them were badly-explained, but this one... It's both amazingly complicated, intuitive and explained very well.. Thank you!

Don't fret about that!! Please, I had lessons with one of the top pianists in my home area for a few years, and HE couldn't hit all the 10th's either. He would just roll them as I have to when a 10th involves a white and black key. For instance on D to F# or E to G# or A to C#. Don't sweat the small stuff!!!
