I was amazed how reasonably priced and how quickly everything was done. In the Philippines, they would milk the job and add additional costs. We spent $3,000 US to build a small home for a relative. The money ran out and it’s still not finished. My wife passed away and I put a stop to it. My wife was being compassionate to build them a house and they just took advantage of her. They were telling me they need more money to complete the house and I told them they pissed the money away and they’re not getting anymore. Great video and it reassured me in my suspicions as to what was going on. Take care, mate.

Great Video Todd, I appreciate the informations you provided in all your's and nenee's videos. This video gives me an ideal of the cost and building construction in Laos. I haven't co tacted Chris yet, but I will soon... I did try Beer Lao here in California, it was a great beer, I love it! Your Luang Prabang boat racing was awesome!! I will be going to the Lao boat race festival in San Diego on 17 Sep, can't wait. It's the only Lao boat race festival in the U.S that I know off... Keep the videos coming!

Wow that is absolutely insane. I did a quick comparison on the block price compared to the UK. At todays exchange rate, a direct equivalent for 400 blocks in the UK, the cheapest I could find- USD $668 plus delivery! Just for the blocks. You paid USD $49. I'll leave you to guess the swearwords I used. Love to see more like this Todd, especially Refurb projects. Cheers
