I wish I could give you better net throwing lessons. Cast nets are the way I've caught bait for 40 years. It takes technique and you have to prepare the net exactly right to get a good circle. That looks like a wonderful adventure! I would love to fish with a rod for the giant catfish and other big fish in those rivers.
It definitely takes technique and skill to get a good catch! I think I’d need a bit more practice to get it right 😅 Our guide actually caught a catfish in one of the lines he set and left but as he pulled it up out of the water it got away…it was huge! Best of luck with your fishing endeavours 😊
