Exactly. LNP doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground about actually working on this stuff and idk how Bruce gets business. His shop is a mess along with his mentality
I've been watching your videos for the past two years and Your videos have taught me a lot and I'm only 15 and its inspired me with stuff I fix on the farm to just dive in and learn as I go. Thanks for the videos 👍
Food for thought... future episode/ or touch on tips for organizing your engine breakdowns. Bolts, hoses, etc How do you keep track of parts and where they go? Loving the content! Keep it up!
I being a mechanic can give some insight here , its pretty much "muscle memory " for him at this point . You just can see the number of bolts ,types , lengths and sizes required for certain areas of the engine . Practice makes perfect so to speak . But on a side note , zip lock baggies , multiple colored zip ties , tape and a sharpie are a beginner's best friend .
something I also did in my younger days of learning this stuff was red solo cups. Pull bolts/nuts out label the cups throw them in and stack them. Should be able to unstack the cups as you put whatever it is back together in reverse order. After a while you just know what goes where. I can tear something down these days and come back a year later and remember where it all went to.
Greg is speaking truth about learning, on how to work on this stuff, I have been there and it's not an overnight thing, some things you will learn from trial and error and not rush to cost more money, but time to have a finished product.
Greg, Been subbed since 5k. I can honestly say that you are one of the faces of this rapidly growing performance diesel industry. I can only imagine how long it takes to put videos together and constantly be moving the camera around etc etc The diesel scene is in good hands with guys like you, the Fleece guys, the Miller brothers from Firepunk, Ryan and crew at hardway, Johnny at Stainless diesel etc at the helm! Keep up the great work man! Even better things to come! 🤘🏻
Thanks for the motivational speech, I needed it. I totally torched a headlight today doing a retro fit. Kinda bummed out cause I gotta buy a new lamp now, but the speech helped me out. Thanks man
Amen Greg. I got my first Cummins a year ago and have since put injectors in, Fass lift pump, pulled the NV4500 and rebuilt it myself, Quadzilla tuner, and trac bars on the way. Not too bad for 21 but I just dove in and let it rip! Oh and the oil cap is going on my next order(:
Having the engine tore down to the short block I would just go ahead and pull the short block out and do lower end bearings and piston injector nozzles. I had to do an engine swap on a 24v because a piston injector nozzles broke off and caused an internal oil leak and scored the #6 piston due to lack of oil ruining the motor and it only had 170k on it. Just my thoughts with the power and money your putting into it. Awesome build keep up the good work
Greg I have a question. I have a bare 01 5.9 block and it’s a Mexico block. Question is I was able to pick a up a complete 01 5.9 block at not cost really. The problem is the block cracked and oil and water mixed. The previous owner didn’t have coolant just water and froze. Are the internal still salvageable such as crank and rods, pistons etc? Never touched a Cummins before so this is my first. Thanks for your response or anyone who replies😊
I’m replacing a Motor in my k20 this weekend sbc 350. Would you always pull the fenders and core support to do such an operation or is yours only off for body work. Time vs the ease of access
ADAM YORK Greg’s truck can’t hold a candle to the flatbed..... it will never push that much power unless he 13mm p pumps it. But I’m sure Greg’s truck will be much more reliable and start without using half a can of ether lol.
CRC Garage 100% no he’s not dead, at least not to my knowledge. He has his own channel now and has posted a couple of times. I believe it’s Johnny fennimore or something like that
I want you to show me all the features on a 2019 what you think about the 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 and 2500 what you think about the 2018 Ram Dodge Ram 2019 Ram.
Greg what was that podcast you had said you listen to? I forget which video you mentioned it on. Also with youtube does it make a difference to you if we hit skip ad or should we let it play so you get more $$$ ? Maybe a video explaining all that, you've got a solid fan base just want to make sure you're getting paid up. Keep up the good work.
AJ King yea works best with both sides cut but it’s not necessary until it’s full blown race truck, will work with just head cut for ring and vice versa
What's up man I ain't heard from you in awhile I ain't see no video I'm glad you back making videos again all the Dodge Ram 3500 and a 2500 Dodge Ram diesels and Stella like I'm glad you back what you think about the 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 and 2500 or 1500 think about the new trucks that got four 2019.
Great video. I love doing the work myself, but finding the time sometimes(son is in travel baseball) and a place to do it(don't have a shop or warehouse) is an issue.
Yo greg im in south jersey i work as a fab/diesel tech and i just got pretty low mile 03 2500 cummins, im looking for a 09 steering drag link (i have one on the truck just rusted) or a synergy type steering link. Got one laying around?? Or anything else laying around that i cpuld possibly use?
it kinda sounds like to start out you get a truck that has a lot of easy to find parts, take it apart and take your time with it and watch videos and ask people about it, but it has to be a vehicle where its alright if it doesn't run for 3 months
I know the thing I worry about with older trucks that you can take apart without reprogramming a factory computer is where to find replacement wiring harnesses or what you do when you have lots of wiring problems
Love yer vidjas bro , but it always seems you do these resto builds bass awkwards . I know it never works as planned with timelines and life , but it would help tremendously to have pulled the engine before paint it seems . Keep em coming , been with you from the start . 👍
thanks greg cant watch these that music does my head in also i have no idea what truck this one is they all look the same it like he is working on vw bugs cause they all look the same
Maybe the whole Johnny Sendit drama was all a master plan. Hear me out, think back to the American Chopper days when Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. Were feuding supposedly. The vieweship went through the roof and eventually led Paul Jr. to open his own shop. PLOT TWIST: there was never a real feud and it was all to help launch Paul Jr's new shop and make more money for both shops. STILL WITH ME? fast forward to Greg and Sendit, same theory applies. It's all a plan to launch Sendit's channel and (mobile)shop. Maybe they're laughing behind closed doors at all of us (myself included) speculating about a supposed falling out between them. Sorry guys I got my aluminum foil helmet on right now and my laptop camera covered over with tape😂😂😂😂😂
Grey in your little talk a touchy subject but very important you left out, is money, everyone that watches always is thinking "man what does this dude do for a living" or "damn youtube must be paying out the a$$" or "damn all these companies giving him stuff to promote" Everything you do to those trucks best of the best and crazy expensive for the everyday person. I think you should touch on that, or atleast tell what these parts/mods cost.
It's funny if you look at Gregs top 5 videos of all time I'm pretty sure like 3 of them are videos with Johnny Sendit in them...makes ya wonder don't it?
Aaron Boodoosingh not sure what Greg’s is, but I have the 3/8 fuel ratchet and love it! Just enough torque to take care of most nuts and bolts when doing stuff under the hood.
I could be wrong, and I probably am (I'm sure somebody will correct me with more details) but I think that the standard output VP is good for building power on because it has more fuel flow than the high output. Some part in the internals of the pump are larger and have a smaller stroke which creates higher fuel pressure or flow I think. Like I said though, I'm not 100% certain and I'm sure somebody will correct me soon enough.
Hands down I enjoy your builds Greg !
I just don’t know how in the hell you got the time to do them with balancing family, work, and builds ! 👍👍👍
Mad respect to you Greg. I'm here because you do your own builds.
I’m here because Bruce Wilson’s content is officially tailored to the trailer trash

Great video. I learned from my dad and at 49 I still learn something every time I work on my truck.
I do learn alot from just your videos. Example, I learned to read the directions for tail lights and buy the backup bulbs if they aren't included. 😄
Love the videos of u working in the shop!
Thanks for the motivational speech, I needed it. I totally torched a headlight today doing a retro fit. Kinda bummed out cause I gotta buy a new lamp now, but the speech helped me out. Thanks man
I love the videos where your videoing yourself and just doing work and getting stuff done.

Awesome. You're videos are a great resource for anyone tearing into one of these engines for the first time, like myself. New subscriber here.
How much did it cost for everything you did to it motor wise I’m looking to rebuilding my 99 2nd gen
Your builds are the best. Keep up the great work Greg!!💪🏽
The tow pig is quite possibly the nicest 3rd gen on the planet 🌍Everytime it see it I love it more👌🏻
Great video
Lyle Conway you haven’t seen mine.
Happy New Year to you. 2019 when is your New Year resolution plans and goals for 2019.
Epic! My 24v is going to get the same treatment soon. Love these second gen vids.
I’m replacing a Motor in my k20 this weekend sbc 350. Would you always pull the fenders and core support to do such an operation or is yours only off for body work. Time vs the ease of access
Just a question but why would you go that far into it without dropping main caps and cleaning crank/replacing mains?
all your trucks look damn good Greg!
Please keep filming by your self. There's just something about it. Haha another awesome one greg!
Hey finally get to see the Harley.
I'm waiting for the Greg A/Bruce Wilson manual trans shootout in the near future!
Yess

He did say he was taking out the 05's engine. Maybe it will end up in the 2nd gen after he gets bored of the vp44
One of these days my content will be this good man 💪🏻💪🏻 keep up the good work I’m currently geting my truck done to man 💪🏻
greg a's 2019 new year solution was to have the cleanest 2nd gen on the planet.

There’s a guy by me that builds 1st gens and every one looks like the day it come off the line or better

wheres the race truck that king speed was building for you i want to know lol.
Greg when u going to show us how to build a 48re by yourself for a 1000hp truck ?
Hey Greg havent heard you mention it in a long time, but whats up with the drag truck?
Awesome awesome video Greg A, crunch time on the 2nd Gen 24V lol. Let’s make it eat lol!
I'm still trying to figure out how come no more Mr Johnny Send it

Correct me if I’m wrong but you have to get rings cut in the block to use your fire ringed head on the block
AJ King you don’t have too
