I used to look down on crusade, with its odd cast of characters like phoenix wright, bomberman and goku, but now I see this, and it makes me feel really hyped.

i hope in a future update it plays more smoothly, kinda like ssf2 since that games mechanics still run a bit more smoothly. idk this is still cool though.
I kinda wish the spriting team would make 3D sprites, then importing them into a 3D stage in 2D format. It would add depth to everything and plus the characters need to have more detail. Also Baby bowser should be added. plus more maps. I would also like to become a voice actor for you guys, I can manipulate my voice pretty well so maybe check out some of my youtube videos?

Lmao, Mojo isn't even that good if you want to compare it to Falco professionals, but it's a good bread and butter. I suppose I don't expect too much from a Falco that's still being worked on at the same time.
I watched just the Grand Finals but still. PCP was fun to watch as I never expected anybody to play Porky, but I expected Weegee.
And a note to everybody, they can't just add characters every second, calm down with the requests. And either way, I don't believe they pay too much attention here, rather their forums.
If you want an example as to why they can't spew out characters within seconds very well, look at certain characters like Petey, Little Mac, and Pacman. Those characters looked like something interesting, but they looked like very rushed characters.
Well, he's not bad. There's nothing wrong, it's just his play style is very basic compared to Falco professionals. Now sure, you don't need advanced knowledge for a game if you don't need it. I just thought maybe if somebody like M2K cared about this game, people would step it up such as Mojo.
At the moment, such a thing isn't in effect nor do I ever think it'd be pretty likely to be, but I just wanted to point such a thing out.

rename the crusade file from to Crusade.exe that fixed my joy to key problem without having to run as admin. and I could set my controls straight from the controller

Guys really, Fox team resprites are a priority, but not top priority. We're currently working on Classic mode, Stadium, and improving the offline and online experience in general to maximize the overall gameplay first. We have a lot of resprites planned but have our hands a bit full at the moment. I've been told a new demo is on the way "soon" but don't have a specific date yet.

I'd play the game more if the crusade airdodge wasn't so cancerous. Being able to stall under a stage with say, shadow ball charge cancels, not exactly the best. That alone is a turn off. If you can loop around hyrule without touching the ground and wasting any jump or recovery move, we have an issue.
Not to mention mewtwo can hover nair into airdodge hover nair into dj hover nair into telehover nair.
And that's not an over exaggeration. That's literally what mewtwo can do.

Skyler Kelley The CRUSADE airdodge, the airdodge that I can assume is built for the game smash bros CRUSADE shouldn't be that messed up. I think we can agree the stock settings for airdodge shouldn't be stupidly broken. Not a matter of it being able to be disabled but the mere fact that it is there.
but in reality in doesn't matter. You don't like one? Then change it to the other ones.
Personally I enjoy the Crusade airdodge, so...yeah. Even in tournaments and such they go for the Melee air dodge. Plus I have a feeling they aren't gonna get rid of the airdodge they added in to Crusade to attempt to be a little more out there.
Skyler Kelley Not a matter of removing it, but fixing something so game breaking. Looping Hyrule is pretty dumb you have to admit. There shouldn't be something so gamebreaking overlooked.
Besides, Imma point towards mewtwo whom can still get multiple hover nairs even with melee airdodge. Hover Nair into DJ Hover Nair into Telehover Nair Waveland doesn't sound the least bit broken?

Sooo, what's the point of this game? I'm genuinely trying to figure out why anyone would play this game when there are professionally designed SSB games already out...
It's made for those who want to see how a smash bros. game'll look when they put characters that haven't gotten in the game. It's for fun, so you don't have to play it.
That comment is like saying why would anyone play melee over Smash 4 this game has exclusive characters a good community and different modes that know their smash game has
+Evan Da Wolf Everyone has a preference. People would play melee over brawl because of their own opinion in the games. Personally, I play SSF2 and I think that it is the most melee-like smash fan game because of the games natural flow of movement. However people will play Crusade because of wave dashing and they will believe that SSBC is the melee out of the bunch. Personally I don't play SSF2 and Crusade much because of the SSF2 mod pack known as SSFM or Super Smash Flash Melee and it also has wave dashing as well. I am enjoying the others as well but SSFM is my fave. Everyone can have their own preferences and they will choose accordingly.
PS. SSFM are adding Zero from Megaman and Ryu. I really want to see the differences between Crusade Ryu and SSFM Ryu.

This game has quite possibly one of the worst rosters out of all fan-made rosters ever, like why the hell is gooey, porky, tails, shadow, knuckles, geno, klanoa, ristar, tingle, toad, petey piranah, snivy and mach rider included. But Roy, Ike, Sheik, Zelda, Palutena, Pit, Rosalina, Doctor Mario, Lucina, Robin, Villager, Wii fit Trainer, Diddy Kong, Greninja, Isaac and Shulk are all cut.
No because they don't usually cut key characters like Zelda, Sheik, Ike and don't usually have FOUR sonic characters.
Polari Moon I wanted Tails and Knuckles and Geno in that game so don't be so mean or I'm gonna say this comment is inappropriate. The characters got in because of the requests so don't be so dumb.

Polari Moon no but your comment scared me because I had a feeling you don't understand. I'm glad Geno made it because most people like you wouldn't even think about adding him in the game. Also Tails and Knuckles needed to come so team Sonic is back. Also I wanted Toad as well. There are people requesting Paper Mario as well. The Wii Fit Trainer was pretty much a bad choice to me.
I was asking a question for the feelings thing. And in my post I said the roster's shit because it excludes key characters in smash like: Zelda, Sheik, Ike, Diddy, Roy and Pit. But includes characters like:Petey, Snivy, Gooey and Geno who are all irrelevant. Also don't force your opinion about Geno on me, by saying he's the best character.

Porky is fun to have. Ninten would just be another clone of Ness. Also Ridley is the best Metroid character ever. I get so freakin tired of people complaining about the character roster. People like you who gets upset with the roster in crusade are really pissing me off. Tails and Knuckles are fun to have. Geno is awesome. Also Rayman, Crash, Ristar, and Klonoa are so fun to have.
+Mario Sonic Smash fan Those characters are awesome. I like Tails better than Knuckles and Shadow. Never tried Geno yet, but the new update, Crash is so much better now he even has follow ups from his running attack. I do not want none of those characters in the official Smash roster, but fan made Smash like this, fuck it bring them in the roster.
***** I like Tails as well. But I'm just saying they were all requested. Sure they can't come to the official smash but they can come to a fangame. And I do like the fangame smash bros games more to be honest.
Mario Sonic Smash fan Same here, but I think Crusade is a better fan game. Not just because of the roster, but the features they are adding. I never hated Tails in general. Just the 4 kids Sonic X one. Why I like Tails very much in here than Flash 2, mostly because he is a better version of Sonic and has very good follow ups with his moves, but my most favorite characters in Crusade is Mach Rider, Pac-Man, Lucas, Dr. Mario, and Goku.
