Because those are GregarLink's Mario and Luigi sprites, juet edited for the sake of blending in with the rest of the cast. A resprite in Crusade's is bound to happen, whether it's sooner or later.

Oh... I heard about this through music and thought it would be a hack for a real Smash game. It looks like there's real quality here, but at the same time I'm so sick of seeing new games with a pixel art aesthetic. It's so over used at this point that it totally cheapens the experience of a game.

@@Kutomi1 It makes it so that you can move your shield in a direction which helps to avoid being shield poked by certain moves a bit longer.
