I first started listening to Belinda around "84. Some of the best songs i loved in my twenties! Now i am 63. One of the most bueatiful faces to grace the stage. Miss those days so much but very glad you are still here Belinda:) I listen to you on the youtube as often as i can:) Love you sweety!

Belinda Carlisle is the most beautiful woman that ever existed, bar none! I was such a big fan back, in the day and especially when she became a solo artist, and I’m so grateful I got to see her in concert, twice, and a few summers ago, I saw her at a local park, and I got to video the whole concert. Belinda is one of the few singers whose voice is just as amazing in person, as it is on an album. Heaven is a place on 🌎 earth; I get weak, and Circle in the sand are my absolute favorites; oh and mad about you; I really love everything she’s ever done. I wish I could’ve met her, though. I think i danced with Belinda Carlisle at a nightclub (Neighbours) in Seattle in the mid-late 80's... I had no idea who i was asking to dance.. 4 songs later, we stopped. she went off and someone came to me and said, "do you know who you were just dancing with"..? I said she said her name is Belinda... why..? are you interested..? do you want me to introduce you..? I didn't know at the time Who Belinda Carlisle was.. And i'm not even sure if it was (from what i know now). I was just a gay boy looking for a gay boy.. I just really wanted to dance to some great songs.. a cute girl (who reminded me of a girl i went to church with) was standing on the edge of the dance floor.. so i asked.. with no expectations. I think it was Belinda after going back to the old GoGo's videos.. She looked just like my church friend. If it was you, Belinda... Say hello.. :). Rob the weird gay boy at Neighbors.. :)

I have been disappointed meeting Belinda, mainly because one time I waited for ages, not many other people waiting with me. Then all of a sudden more people start turning up, she comes out the back door of the venue and they all crowd around before I can do anything, then when I try to go round the other side to see if I can get a look in, the security guy standing nearby says what are you doing, I said i;m just going round the other side. Then he say's right thats all now and for a second Belinda was going to her car and the crowd going away, I thought should I shout across, then I looked at the security guy and back at Belinda who was getting in the car and thought, no I've missed out again. I had bought 6 programmes hoping to get at least two signed one for me and my brother who could not make it.
This is fantastic. I love Belinda but she has a tendancy to clam up a bit in interviews and you don't get much outnof her. I love the Robert Palmer story, I guess she shit in a box or something haha???
