I heard that You can turn off Screen Space Reflections when using RT reflections or path tracing included. There's no need for it at all with RT, but the game still wastes resources doing the screen space reflections. This setting change will increase performance significantly without any visual differences.
It's a very surprising that they would leave that on. Almost every other game that uses RT reflections automatically turns off any screen space reflection.
Can you compare the RX 7900 XT in 2560×1440 vs 3440x1440? I would love to see COD cold war or RDR2 or any other game you wold like to show. Im between these 2 resolutions and I dont know which monitor to pick
That would probably be a good video to do what is the performance coat of upgrading. For me it's the extra size you get from going ultrawide that makes it so much better.
@@ultrawidetechchannel Exactly! I'd love to see how much performance you can "lose" by upgrading to ultrawide. I have in mind to buy this GPU in December and also a new monitor (maybe in January), that's why I asked about those resolutions. Im between the LG-34WP65C-B and the Viewsonic VX2718-2KPC-MHD. I live in Uruguay and those are the more affordable monitors I could get Again, thanks for making these videos. It is a great contribution to the community.
Now that I think more about it, its also interesting to test (as an experiment) the 1440p ultrawide with black bars in each side to see how it feels and if it brings the same performance as a normal 1440p monitor
Appreciate all your videos. Very few channels or places do good coverage of Ultra Wide Performance! Ty
My pleasure
great video, it's astounding that the rtx 4090 manages barely to handle path tracing , wonder if drivers will improve performance soon
The have already made significant improvements but I bet they can go further
