She started reading the scene to help him prepare for the audition, got halfway through, handed him the script and said, “This is garbage. Nobody’s going to go see this.”
Yes! I heard that story, too - sometimes people get things wrong and that is one of those cases that worked out well for the rest of us movie loving people because I can see no other actor playing that role ❤️

35/50 The one that really got me was Nicole Kidman, I was looking at her pic thinking "Nicole Kidman" but then looked at the clues thinking "but Nicole Kidman is Australian" I never realised she had dual nationality being born in Hawaii when her aussie parents were visiting there. more educational content from Carole!
There were a few that when I was looking them up on Wikipedia, I thought "Wait, really??" ❤️
