I hope you really enjoyed that cup of Earl Grey tea, my dear Carole. Wow! That was some quiz! I'm very sure Trekkies had an absolute ball with it. Thanks for working so diligently on all your quizzes, my friend. 🙏🦋🤗❤️❤️❤️
I hope you enjoyed your cup of tea, Carole. ♥ Very challenging and interesting quiz!! Unfortunately, I did as badly as I feared. Because while I am a Trekkie, I haven't watched the original series since probably my 20s (50 years ago!). So of those first questions about the OS, I only got one right. TNG is the series I watched most, although I have seen all of the series (I think...there are soooooo many), and some of the movies. But it has been many years since I've watched any of them, so my memory is not up to a lot of the questions about details. I would like to have done better, but I only got 20/50. [sigh] Again, multiple choice would have been helpful with this, as it would have with the Star Wars one. Would have helped to twig my brain's memory cells. 😄Thanks, Carole! ♥♥♥
(I'm not a Trekkie Jemma, I'm just supporting Carole's channel by posting some comments) After your comments on other quizzes, I'm surprised you didn't get at least 50%. Never mind eh?
@@arthurjarrett1604 The Star Trek franchise is so huge, Arthur, that there are a million other questions Carole could have chosen and I might have done better. But again, haven't seen them for quite a while, so the memory fades regarding a lot of the details. ♥
I didn't keep count but I'd say I got over half right, knew another few but didn't get the answer in time and just did not know some, like the beer in ST:4 (I don't like or drink beer but still wrongly guessed it.). Thanks. It was...Fun!
36/50, geesh. Maybe a second or two more thought on a couple of them (I thought Sargento instead of Rozhenko, go figure; or Majel Barrett, I thought Chapel or the computer, forgot Number One) and I would have done better. Great spread of questions.
Didn't count. Some were easy, some were nice. Some were ... weird. Star Trek IV is my favourite of ALL the movies, I've seen it a lot. But why the heck would I remember the brand of the beer they drank? :D I even remembered the stupid watch Chakotay gave Janeway and some other minor details from episodes or the movies, but that? :D And usually I'm actually interested in what beer characters consume. Was super surprised to see them imbibe Radeberger on "How I met your mother" in one episode. I likely got around 40 correct. If you let "Baxton? Paxton?" count for time captain Braxton. :D
I think you'll be hard pressed to find many fans that are knowledgeable in the older shows AND the new movies and shows. I have no doubt there's exceptions, but most have their preferences. If it was mostly TOS, I could have probably aced it. But TNG movies and Voyager, DS9 and Ent, I'm not so well versed in.
I did pretty well, but there were so many that I should have known but just couldn't pull out of the murky depths. Yorktown and Nyota for example. However, your answer for question #23 is incomplete. As Scotty himself put it," Franklin... deserves better."
Terribly sorry Carole but Star Trek is my least favourite franchise that I haven't seen since I was a kid in the early 80s. Just thought I'd give you some support by way of a view, thumbs up and a comment
I understand your point - I design my quizzes that way because my stats say most of my viewers are on a TV, so on anything else, it probably is hard to read. I also used to use 10 second timers on the answers, but that made all of my videos really long... It's hard to balance it out - but thank you for giving it a go ❤️
Autistic Special Interest Scored 45/50, Didn't Know The Type Of Fish, The Name Of The Band That Cochrane Played The Song From Launching The Phoenix (Of Course Did Know The Date Of What Is Referenced In Voyager As 'First Contact' Day), Didn't Realize The Micholeb Was The Name Of The Beer (Thought It Was A Toping On The Pizza 🤪LOL), Of Course I 'Spaced' (Pun Intended🤣) On Gene's OG Name For The Ship (How Dare I? Specially When The Name Was Used In IV: The Voyage Home) & Finally While Very Familiar With The Parody Style Song I Didn't Know The Name Of The Band. To The Poster While I Appreciate It Was Only 50 Questions WOW Somebody Barely Cared About Voyager Or DS9 And For Throwing In A Couple Of Discovery Questions I Was Stunned To NOT See A Single One Pertaining To Lower Decks, Picard Or Strange New Worlds 😅(I Don't Consider Prodigy Any Type Of Trek Not Even Reboot, Remake Etc. As I View It More As Watered Down Tiny Tot Specific Nick Shite).💩
Autistic or not, that's a great score ❤️ I do love Voyager and DS9 but, you're right, my heart is really with the original series and Next Generation. Discovery, I really wanted to like but I just couldn't - Strange New Worlds, though, I think is excellent. And I wanted to include some questions about Picard (the series) but, truthfully, I ran out of time to make it and there is just SO much Trek 🤣 And, lastly, I will admit that even though I'm a dedicated Trekky, I just can't bring myself to watch Lower Decks or Prodigy - I watched 5 minutes of the first episode of Lower Decks and got very sad and annoyed.
@@carolesquizzes I Suggest Trying Again With Lower Decks, Once You Get Past The First Few Eps And Accept The Rick & Morty Style You'll Really Appreciate It I Think, The Thing That Absolutely Hooked Me Is That It's The Only One (Strange New Worlds Included) That's Really True To The Era We Loved (Of Course I Refer To TOS - ENT) Spoiler One Of My Fave Eps In Season 3 Is When They Return To DS9 And We Also Get The O.G. Mel! How are you, fellow Canuck? Good to see you commenting. I really hope you are feeling better and taking lots of time to relax. ♥♥3
Thanks for that, a good spread of questions, we knew the band in question 50 ...
As soon as I started to make this quiz, that song was stuck in my head 🤣
I was hoping I'd know more. I knew more TOS and first few movies. Bombed the rest.
❤️❤️❤️
I really appreciate how some were really easy, yet most that I missed were right on the tip of my tongue, nothing TOO hard. Thanks for the trivia!
You're very welcome! ❤️

@@jemma50 True. It's the old adage: You either know it or you don't...
I need to re-watch Voyager, missed all of those ones. Got most of the rest.

I didn't keep an exact count, got about 38/50
Very nice ❤️

Decent quiz, some actually tough questions. I'd leave out the ones from Discovery, though, it's not real Star Trek.
My husband says the same about DS9 - to each his own, I guess...
I didnt know Worfs parents were "Humna" 46 out of 50 didnt get the beer, captain in 2009 star trek, the fish and the Runabout
Try writing thousands of questions, day in day out, week in week out, and see how many typos YOU make! 🤣
More penance is due. 34/50 I really should have done better. Hope you enjoyed your early Grey; Hot. Have a great day? Make it so!
Shhhh - don't tell anyone but I actually don't like Earl Grey, too perfumed for me 🤣 Just between us, though! 🤣❤️

Yeh, I should have worded that question better... thanks for watching, though! ❤️
Star Trekkin ruined my perfect score, I want my money back lol.
If it's any consolation, I hate that song 🤣
10 questions in, and just two of them concern the original series.
What's your point? There's an awful lot of Star Trek and not much time to ask questions...
