Got a DR 600 '85 myself right now, and take my word for it, it's not just plain nostalgia you're feeling there. The thing still is pure, endless, and brutal thumper fun with a very enjoyable soundtrack.
Bro i have this bike and face problem with the start its hard and some times cant start it (cold start) ... Do you know a trick to start easy or to change something to become easier like your i saw

I think it's all about setting the carburetor, set it as stated by the manufacturer, I start cold on the net and without gas

I'm 183 cm myself, and my DR 600 looks like a 125 when I'm on it. It really isn't a large bike at all.
Does yours have twin spark plugs cause mine is a 1986 and has twin spark plugs both on the left side
yes they have twin spark
Why 2 spark plugs though?
