Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ I'm impressed the 38 GMC started up beautifully, I do believe it's my favorite in your fleet Joey. It's always fun to be dragged around behind Laverne, she runs really great also 👍 Congratulations to Marvin for winning where is Brad. Thanks for another great video guys ✌️🇺🇲🇨🇦
i was wondering where you were but it is is the xmas party season so i thought you were out having fun. when tuned just right the chevy inline motors fire right up and when the welder was warm it fired right up too. thansk
Morning from,,,, well western NS today, great nor Easter for a road trip.great video today, as always, love the service truck, what a nice running truck. The rescue pups will enjoy the work you do on their trails, nice day in the kingdom, hope everyone has a great weekend 🇨🇦🇺🇸🍺
Nice Christmas feel to today's video. Looked like Santa riding his cat. Hope you can warm up tonigt. If the King says it's cold then it must be indescribable.
Happy holidays to all. I grew up about 7 miles from the peace garden .that old truck has some miles on it and the sticker to prove it. lol thanks for winter fun
yes we grew up in the hot rod world where we went to the peace gardens for events. the american hot rods would attend and it was fun because it was really no name land so people that could not cross got visit each other at the camping events. thansk
Boy, Laverne just fits on the dog trails. I'm waiting for the day when you rip out the double barrel stove in a fit of rage, swearing the whole time like Ralphie in a Christmas Story!
if it had not so much when the power went out then the staff could just use her ski-doo to pull the pallet like she has done all these years. but the deep snow all at once we need to cut it down and Lavern did the job and nice trails to walk on. the top barrel will be removed when it warms up, we can't do it now because the electric furnace will not keep up in the shop thansk
Awesome job getting it out of the snow it moved on its own it look like thank you for the video merry Christmas and a happy New Years from the United States
Well well well, the post is running again. Thank goodness for that. Now they can work overtime trying to catch up on all the Christmas mail. Two days ago was last day for guaranteed delivery of first class mail in the States. Somehow it all seems planned. ben/ michigan
plus they will be on work to rule and it will be end of january when things might be normal. then the other department will go on strike so it never ends thansk
The 1938 GMC is a very nice truck too. Nice fleet. I bought a hand throttle to install on my 1969 CJ5. If I hit a bump off road it bounces the throttle and jerks the jeep so I think the hand throttle will keep my big feet from bouncing the throttle too hard lol.
Your at over minus 30 over there, over here we've been getting over 30 Celcius, supposed to be 39 Christmas day hope Santa packed some shorts and a singlet to deliver the Presets in Australia.
Try putting a grate in the barrel stoves. A grate a few inches off the bottom of the barrel will provide much needed draft coming in under the fire. Had this problem until I installed the grate, and then the barrel stove worked perfectly. But you do you. I'm just talking from experience.
Do you guys feed Jack? '38 did fine. Good technique, plus dry snow. Is it standard operating procedure to have a rescue vehicle warmed up? Great video,Xena. 😎👍
yes since WHO-ville hates us so much if we break down no one will help us out so having the second machine up and running makes life easier. same as the ski-doo, we have the spare one in where it is warm in case the staff's one breaks down thansk
yep the one i use did same was coal stove barrel for trains small any way big one thats smoker and bbq is better pipe cost lot it all in the wood and time what i cook i prefer open fireplace but nice have fun
Turning cold here tonight. Wood furnace wouldn't burn for spit today even though it cleared off to sunshine. Could only get the garage to raise to 60. You need a Shirley to partner with Laverne. Of course then you might want a Lenny and a Squiggy.
weather has a lot to do with wood burning and a lot of people don't know or understand that. only problem is Lavern is a boy cat like all my other cats they are all boy cats, lol thansk
When I was young we had the same problem we had two identical stoves in the house one in the living room and one down in the family room the one in the living room would never make it through the night on a load of coal but the one in the family room would burn all night and still be going in the morning Dad finally got sick of both of the stoves and put in central heat😂😂😂
King I'm no expert but you might try extending the chimney pipe on the double barrel above the ridge of the shop roof it might give you a better draft and control of the flame. Just an idea.
we don't think that will work when water will not boil in low pressure. remove the top barrel and enjoy a simple life. the other stove works fine with no dramas. thansk
it does great seasoning a building i dont mind smoked wood use coals works great indoors hang meat inside whole place fills with smoke works other times cold or hot smoke it takes time clean
yes we could do that or find some scrap but i think the low pressure being so bad that water won't boil will not help. going back to the single barrel will be the best. thansk
Hey Joey would like to send you a package? Don't tell me you don't like candy? Let me know? If course it warmed up here. Had to go back to work. Still bricklaying on the Eastern Shore! Working like crazy to support the lazy!
Brrrrr , it’s not fun when the wood stove doesn’t cooperate and just burn.. choke it back and find its going out . I burn maple , cherry , oak Keep warm !

Nice Christmas feel to today's video. Looked like Santa riding his cat. Hope you can warm up tonigt. If the King says it's cold then it must be indescribable.
thank you, it was cold and we forget how cold it is until the extension cords are stiff or things crank over so slowly. thansk
Xena is magical. She pops all over the place to get the great video.

yes very popular song back in the day thansk

Marvin... Could be the Martian from the cartoons... 😂

no problems with the single barrel, burns and gives heat the double barrel will be removed so life is normal thansk

Just wondering if you put the chimney right above the pipe with the damper in it if it would get better air flow on the shop stove😊
we are just going to remove the top barrel and have a normal stove again. double barrel stoves don't work up here thansk
When I was young we had the same problem we had two identical stoves in the house one in the living room and one down in the family room the one in the living room would never make it through the night on a load of coal but the one in the family room would burn all night and still be going in the morning Dad finally got sick of both of the stoves and put in central heat😂😂😂
yes unreal how 2 stoves burn totally different. central heat would have been an expensive up grade back then thansk
At least u won't have no computer issues in the old truck
yes pump the gas, pull the choke and hope for the best thansk
King I'm no expert but you might try extending the chimney pipe on the double barrel above the ridge of the shop roof it might give you a better draft and control of the flame. Just an idea.
Rule of thumb is 3' above anything within 10'...

I used a chunk of plate with holes punched in it, the air flow under those coals cured my stove "burping".
yes we could do that or find some scrap but i think the low pressure being so bad that water won't boil will not help. going back to the single barrel will be the best. thansk

it would be best to ship it to Sir Rodney because he lives close to the usa border so shipping will be a lot cheaper thansk
Wonder what it costs to ship you guys a few Fisher double door brick lined stoves? I got 4
i think it would be way to expensive. talk to Sir Rodney, he knows how to get things up to us thansk
Brrrrr , it’s not fun when the wood stove doesn’t cooperate and just burn.. choke it back and find its going out . I burn maple , cherry , oak Keep warm !
the barrel stove no problem the double barrel is like an ex-wife nothing but dramas, lol thansk
