I am getting dentures. Under no circumstances would I get dentures. From someone who didn’t have the knowledge or experience. This is not just something that restores your smile. It also can change your facial features if you don’t. Have someone who knows what they are doing. Just ignore them.
Just relying as I know this is an old comment but for me it took 5 appts. About 5 months. And practically no pain. Just soreness (after the 1st appt with new post) that ibuprofen dealt with. It's the long process and multi steps that's a pain. So no need to have anxiety about any of this. heck for me the numbing needle was more painful! I'm at my last step now with waiting to get tooth made.
It's quite a long process. my schedule is set for nextweek while watching this video it feels a bit scary.😔😔 How to avoid anxious during the procedure?? I hope someone can give me advice or tips?🙏
My dad has gotten 5 of them and he only used ibuprofen for the pain. He said it wasn't that bad. But of you need stronger pain meds they'll typically give them to you. Thats kindof somthing you should've spoke with your periodontist about b4 the procedure. The whole pain management aspect.
Not to be nosy but do u have delta dental at all???? they pay 50% of it and if u work for longhorn or olive garden or any of there sister stores and have dental they have delta dental gold they will pay 80% of it just a thought I would like to share with u and an option to look into..... my mom has it threw her company (longhorn) and my husband and I just signed up for delta dental so when time comes I am not paying so much outta pocket I do know they cap u for a certain price per yr but with the healing and all that its still worth it..... Just a thought of advice hopefully it helps.....
@@billblow5739 I guess dentists are just speaking generally. Your teeth is the only tissue in your whole body that doesn’t rebuild/repair itself. I’ve known people in their 60s that still have all their teeth. That’s not very common though.
There's no predicting a future. I lost a tooth to resorption. There's nothing you can do to prevent that, no matter how good you take care of your teeth.
Most of the time this is where people knock their teeth out. I have a rare tooth condition where I have missing adult teeth and I have to have this procedure
There are many reasons for tooth loss. Look up internal or external resorption. I had that and lost a tooth from it. Needed an implant. No matter how good you take care of your teeth, stuff like that can happen.
I'm unsure what materials my dentist used, but the implant from extracting the tooth to the final placement of a crown, took over a year.
Thats the same screw I seen at home depot 💀🤣😭😭😭
It'd not about the material it's the dentist who's screwing it in...do you prefer a lumberjack drilling it on or an experienced health professional?

Well kriss said you can opt for sedation during the procedure. But I think it's better if you just discuss your fears with your dentist first.
I guess you should try kriss. It can answer all your queries related to dentistry.
@@ananyamohapatra20 kriss??? what is that?
@@ananyamohapatra20 hello, can you tell us more about this kriss?

Went to Mexico $1000, passport $100
6 lower incisor teeth. Amazing.
My dentist told me that if you take care of your teeth, they should last you a lifetime.
Until you kiss a tree doing 30mph on a snowboard
I kissed the pavement downhill on a razor scooter when I was 8.

Most people probably need an implant due to injury.

Alternatively, just brush your teeth.
