De Niro is amazing too. Marlon Brandon is The Don, and so many other great actors outside the godfather. Pacino is not the best, but he does belong to the golden Top.
Ive experienced this in real life I'm sad to say. Only once. The closest person in the world to me. My best friend of 30+ years. I got a call out of nowhere one night telling me that he committed suicide. A few days later. I'm home. Trying to get thru this terrible thing. I drank a few glasses of wine and was listening to classic rock channel on the radio when they decided to do a block of three James Taylor songs. You've got a friend almost killed be but I got thru. The Fire & Rain came on and I was losing it. I was so broken down and sad , but at the same time very angry about the way it happened. Anyway Long story short. I start punching the drywall , hard? And my mother (who was also very close to him) had come over to stay a few days. She came down and walked up behind me. When I saw her, I just stopped swinging I turned to look at her and say something like, what did he do that for. But tears were starting down and a I got out was WTF an she grabbed and hugged me. When she pulled away I didn't realize it til after but I had let out a sad moan and my mouth just stayed wide open as I looked at her. She told me later I didn't have to say a word. My eyes had so much pain in them. She had never seen anything like it. After 10 or 20 seconds I think , a high pitched cry started out of my mouth slowly. That was all I could get out but it sucked. I tell u. Five years later on Dec 23, (Yep. He did it two days before Christmas) and I still can't really wrap my head around the whole thing. Sorry this went a bit off topic as I rambled on. LOL. Last word on it. Don't hurt yourself for any reason. Things can get better & if you do , anyone out the who loves you , there lives will be decimated, no matter what you think. Alota these poor people think no one cares and everyone will be fine in months time and just move along. NO WAY. Be Safe out there people.
At the End everything is gone and nothing is left. No matter how much we watch and how much we hear but there is one thing for sure 🔥🔥We Never Ever Learn🔥🔥 That our life on Earth will end very soon with completely nothing in our possession. Mankind is Blind and refuses to see the reality and will never get cured...!
All Pacino was so fantastic in these movies and I truly believe that he should have definitely received an oscar. He is such a fantastic actor, was in the past present and always will be in the future. He is my all time favorite actor. I hope to keep seeing him in alot more movies in my life time. I also think he is genuinely a great person. BRAVO to Al Pacino
.“Has it ever struck you that life is all memory, except for the one present moment that goes by you so quick you hardly catch it going?”― Tennessee Williams
The anguish scream of AL Pacino where his daughter is killed is gut wrenching... Still it brings tears into my eyes ...The pain of receiving the payment for his sins even though he whole heartedly changed and regretted the past... And to die... Old and Lonely... In the end... 😢😢😢
That was the most anguish cry/yell I've ever heard. Its force scared you. You could hear his heart breaking. Al Pacino is 1 outstanding actor. He was overlooked for Oscar's a couple of times.
We ALL die a ‘lonely death’… because no one can die that death for us… we came alone, made our bonds and we will leave alone… Only thing we take is our memories, our sins, our triumphs and our defeats… That’s why I pity all those Billionaires and millionaires that suck the life out of us and don’t share the abundance as if they could Eat more than three times a day, sleep in more than one bed at night and still envy what the poor family has… Love and Loved ones… and when all is said and done, they leave with nothing in their hands but misery. Lord of the rings ain't got shit on this trilogy because it was the same actors in like a 20 year span.lord of rings was year after year. Godfather is truly a masterpiece. Pachino can play any role with Oscar buzz, even played a Cuban marialeito, with accent and whole nine. We
Incredible Trilogy, unforgetable work of cinematography @ its finest, one of Hollywood's all-time ensemble of artists ea contributing to the whole effort of this great enduring production.
Yes it was, oh my word, it resonated with my very soul. His face, hoe he was able to express the horror of losing a child. Chilling, right up there with Brando’s “ Look how they massacred my son”.
Please someone bring back the old Italian Mafia movies that we all grew up on,the present day cowboy movies,if u will of us city n country folks who believed in rite n wrong, and an eye for an eye..The Old ways....❤

Watching this, I never realized The Godfather was a very, very violent trilogy (not that I'm complaining). I guess the sheer beauty of the writing, the acting, and the story itself drowns that out.
The Godfather trilogy is the best I have ever seen. I do not think any film will ever beat it. Al Pacino is simply the greatest actor in Hollywood, not only in this trilogy. For those who like him check out the devil's advocate.
Ya perdi la cuenta de cuantas veces me he visto esta pelicula y lo mejor de todo es que cada vez que la anuncian en cualquier canal , la espero con ansias para volver a verla.
Last part when he daughter was dead between his arms then he screamed…that made my body shivers ….woooow ….should’ve got Oscar for his acting long time ago
That devastating scream at 18:56…it’s like his soul just left his body….and then the final scene as an old man in the backyard with only the happy memories of youth to console him….then, he dies alone…this reminded me that life truly is fleeting….

in the godfather 3 . micheal died in the same house in sicily where appolonia died . he loved that house and he loved that woman until his last day . powerful scene . he wanted a life fulled of love with his family that's why he spent his life protecting the family . great actor
Good observation...at the very end he was still missing his wife.sometimes you loss your beloved ones and you can't even weep and mourn on them to look strong for others but inside you got a deep wound.
He loved Kay too but it was different kind of love. It was more intellectual. He met her when he was in the college and didn't want to do anything with family business. When he saw Apollonia, it was like being hit by lightning. Very powerful and emotional.

Al pacino. Greatest actor of all time!! The guy is incredible. Unfortunately the era we live in now we won't see another like him
Ok boomer
De Niro is amazing too. Marlon Brandon is The Don, and so many other great actors outside the godfather. Pacino is not the best, but he does belong to the golden Top.
Alan Hock in this era we live we have a few great actors like Denzel W, Leo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Jamie Fox and Joaquin Phoenix,
Alan Hock But still we will never see a Actor like Al Pacino again
Alan Hock or Robert De Niro or Joe Pesci They all will go to heaven soon
That silent cry by Michael has to be the best shot ever delivered in the history of cinema.
2019 and I still can’t get over this.
Which minute?
Is it silent? Or did they just put only the music in for a short moment?
Farid Bang silent

A trilogy with really not ONE bad actor! The very best ever made! And indeed, Marlon Brandon, the only real Don, is missing!!!
Yes, but he is every time in backgroud, every where you can see his shadow. 🎉🎉
At the End everything is gone and nothing is left. No matter how much we watch and how much we hear but there is one thing for sure
🔥🔥We Never Ever Learn🔥🔥
That our life on Earth will end very soon with completely nothing in our possession. Mankind is Blind and refuses to see the reality and will never get cured...!
The best movie I have watched in my life. The acting, bgm music, plot, story expansion, lifestyle, saga and action. Fantastic beyond words.

Shit video...for sure
If only, I SAID IF ONLY.
The best mpvie i ever seen in my life i am 77 years
7 years old?
I am 75+. I agree with you .
This movie made me understand that power and money are extremely expensive!
And dangerous
At the end of the film it proves that all of that is useless. Michael has paid for his sins by seeing his wife and daughter killed.
"Just when I thought I was out they pulled me back in" greatest line ever
All Pacino was so fantastic in these movies and I truly believe that he should have definitely received an oscar. @@00tonytone He's one of the best, but you're forgetting John Travolta and Tom Hanks.

All the film is good..not only such scenes..Italy proud of this
It's more trajic than ever now . What a living story update . Reliving it all is even more perplexing .

Marvellous acting in the daughter's death scene...

Most people neglect to give Connie her “godfather daughter” points. In part 3 we see she can be ruthless too!
Last part when he daughter was dead between his arms then he screamed…that made my body shivers ….woooow ….should’ve got Oscar for his acting long time ago
My favorite line was “Fredo, never go against the family”
Fuck yeah
"Don't ever take sides against the family again"
*younger Cuomo has entered the chat*
My favourite is "I'm Gonna Make Him An Offer He Can't Refuse"
That's not even a line
