When I saw how close Rick's fingers get to the blade my first thought was "Boy. I'll bet he doesn't have to cut his fingernails very often." Double stick tape trick: don't cut the backing when you cut the tape. Stick the tape to the work piece but peel the backing off before cutting the tape. Thanks for the video. I learned a lot. I haven't tried inlay yet and this made me want to give it a serious try! I wish I could get my blades out that easy... I have a Harbor Freight scroll saw and have to do a lot to get a blade out and tightened each time... maybe I can afford better sometime down the road... Anyhow, Thanks for sharing!
When using this type of tape lay it on and pull backing and only cut the sticky layer..you then have an tab of backing to pull next time..so easy and saves fiddling.

Depends on the complexity of the pattern, a 2R or a 5R. Different blades will just change the angle of the table to where the parts fit.
