Yes indeed Fish!!! I've mentioned this before but you are one of the first ppl to put these bikes on UA-cam! Check out @ridingfish channel to see the debut!!!!
Congrats! @25:43 well Mrs. Finesse, happy for your upgrade & I totally want Stella! Been looking for that version DH Icon ... I'm 5'3" but long 31" inseam and think it would be a nice fit... Gotta come down from NY & visit Savannah dealership! 🤩
Ms Finesse's comment about only short people having to worry about whether they will fit on a bike really resonated with me. I'm also 5, 2 and feeling restricted on which bikes will work because of the vertical challenge can be frustrating. I would enjoy learning more about her experiences on heavy baggers especially at slow speeds, parking, backing up, etc. Thank you for the review.
I will pass along the message and give you either a video update or I will reply to this message once I get an answer. I appreciate you checking out the video and I am glad to assist.
I work at a custom paint shop and helped do the paint on the lower bags and lids and dang i wasn’t expecting the bike to look this good when it was done!
My goodness that is a beautiful bike❤❤❤ I thought I wanted a road glide until I saw the pursuit. After seeing this one my decision is made. Im going Indian pursuit!!!
I own 249 of 325. Ive added KST bars, a back rest for myself and a sissy bar from siouxicidechoppers. I have to say it does everything a Harley does better, out accelerates, out maneuvers, feels lighter in the twistys and unlike a harley, the radio can be heard at speeds above 55
What's up Finesse, I watched this video before but since I walked into Motorcycle Mall the other day and saw the 2024 Elite in person, I had to come back to your video
That Elite is badass. I put a Klock Werks windshield on my Pursuit. I had my wife hold a small magnet at the nut when I unscrewed the bolt. Those little bolts weren't falling anywhere. Easy install
The bars were a must... she so short lol she was leaning deep into the bike with the stock bars. I think we are almost there but might have to get some custom ones made.
That is a BEAUTIFUL BIKE. I test rode a Challenger Elite (white)at Americade. I was thoroughly impressed with the bike. I’ve always wanted a 2nd bike. My current bike is a 22 Wing. I’m starting to see an Indian Challenger in my future.. 🤦🏽♂️😁 Safe riding to you both.
Can’t believe that lift was able to handle the weight of a motorcycle! I love seeing this behind the scene footage. Thank you! (Nice Irish exit today at the practice session 😅$
The bike is only 800lbs, thanks for checking out the channel! I wasn't staying the whole session... the wife wasn't letting me do a practice session on her bike without her doing it first LOL.
Thanks. Beautiful things just look beautiful, no matter what they are. Pretty sure I am going to try and convince the Mrs. to at least let me do the break in hahahaha.
beautiful bike! I don't see myself ever purchasing an Elite, however, once i get a challenger, the Elite will be the blueprint. There are some aftermarket parts that I prefer over Indian OEM.
As far as battery placement goes the more weight you can have down low the better balanced the bike will be!!! And I must add that is a beautiful bike!!!!!
Watching this for the second time and wow just a gorgeous bike. Congrats to Mrs. Finesse 💪💪. ps i thought I was the only one that sits in garage looking at his bike 🤣😂😅💪🫶
Thanks! I am not a fan of ceramic coating...mostly because I've never done it before on a vehicle. However, I'm old school in that way I guess... I will be waxing it this weekend tho.
Nice bike no doubt. The only thing I don't like is that the saddlebag lights are running lights only. Instead of spending design money on a novelty like light up speakers, I'd rather they'd have put integrated stop/turn/running lights on the bags. Safety first. Other than that, I like the bike.
Hey man, what a beauty that bike is. Congrats to you and your wife. I just ordered mine a couple of weeks ago but it might take a little while to be shipped here to Canada. Can I ask you a question? Do the covers between the saddle bags and the bike can be removed in order to put the quick release travel trunk, or they are fixed?. Thanks man
Yes, those covers can be removed however, it is just the upper portion of the covers and not the entire covers. If you wanted to remove them all together there would be some disassembly involved. In short, they do allow for the quick-release tour pack, there will be a video soon detailing that information.
Personally I’m not a fan of the red wheels just too much red. Love everything else about the bike. If got one I’d swap them out with the Dark Horse wheels. They have the red accent border around the black spokes. Those would truly look sick on that bike.
Ugh... IDK... well I guess it's a like or not like, but when I pull up next to the wife on her bike all I do is stare LOL it is a great accent to the rest of the bike. (I'm not jealous of her btw) Have you seen it in person?? They aren't like a bright red it's more a maroon or dark red, almost blood color (I feel like I'm trying to convince you HAHAHAHAH)
The Icons are far more rare. Still baffles me why they market it as so exclusive. Icons they make no more than 50 in a certain color, they're all made to order, so often less. Elites are over 300... and they'll make every single allocation available, so strange. The paint jobs are stunning though.
Me personally I’ve seen waaay more icons on the street and in dealerships (non orders) than I have seen Elites… anywhere. However that could be due to location, around my area I’ve only ever seen one red IMC bike and not a special model just the standard paints🤷🏾♂️. I’m sure there is something to it but idk.
@@FinesseTheChallengerFACTS. Icons aren’t “made to order”, I’ve seen numerous Icons sitting in the dealership floor, and there are way more icons produced than Elites. I don’t know where they got their bullshit info from…
Congrats on the new ride!!!! What size windshield did you get for the Pursuit and what brand? I’m the same size and looking at Freedom shield or Klockwerks. I have the 11 in Klockwerks but it’s a little flimsy and too tall. Suggestion for the Elite… replace the bag lights with RydeCulture bag lights… you won’t regret it! #RydewithRC
So I've seen the RydeCulture lights and they do look good... that might be an option. As for the windshield I purchased the IMC flared windshield... they are made by Klockwerks and sold as IMC. There is only one size, and it works great plus I still have the tall one should I want to switch up but there really is no need that flare works great IMO.
Wifey is 5'2", and she currently does not have extended reach controls however we are making some changes to the bike specifically for her. I am currently working on that video and it should be out shortly. Also, idk what you mean by boxes...unless you are talking about the saddlebags then the lock controls are on the remote and the dash... you can also use a key to lock them as well.
Thanks for the reply. I'm 6'2 and have extended reach on my scout anniversary but Its still not enough. Just wondering if I'd need to do extended reach on the challenger. Yep, saddle bags. Good to know they are remote locking. Haven't seen anything to say they are.
I did do a quick video on one at Biketoberfest this year... Of course if I get the chance to see another one I'll do a video. As you can imagine they are hard to find LOL
I think it is a cool way to highlight these specialty motorcycles. Additionally, each of these bikes is hand painted so if they were to do this on a larger scale there would most likely be people waiting across year models for their bikes. At least that's my assumption. Good question I'll have to put more thought into it or try to ask IMC the reason behind this.
The bars on her bike are the Folsom Prison +6 (custom) they are two inches closer to the rider than normal +6 bars. Nice, those bars are going to look gooooood.
