Stay out of Atlanta on a motorcycle. Rude, idiot drivers who are distracted. The Challenger is a great bike. I have a luggage rack for long rides. Loving it here in Florida. Year round riding. Rode a lot in Maryland. Insane drivers and traffic. I also have a Roadmaster. Wife rides a Chieftain.

Was on a trip to NH a couple weeks ago and when I came out of the restaurant. I found one of these parked next to me. I was floored and had to stare at it! Absolutely gorgeous MC. I did a walk around and took a bunch of pics and posted them on my Facebook page. I know absolutely nothing about Indian models, Engines, options, performance, etc. I own a 2008 HD Ultra Classic. Colors remind me of my 2002 Kawasaki Nomad. Your video is the first one I watched about this model. Nicely done. Price of admission is not for the faint of heart, for sure. I agree with you, that for $42 grand, the Indian head should literally up and that chrome bolts on the black passenger arm rests should be matching black chrome. Wished you had opened the lid on the trunk like you did with the saddle bags! I wanted to compare it to the room on my Harley. Hopefully the aftermarket makes matching ape hanger bars. The blacked out engine flat out works with the design! But you say this isn’t the best motor Indian makes?? Love the battery tender plug built in! I’m not a Harley vs Indian guy, but I’ve decided the MoCo isn’t getting any more of my money. They apparently aren’t marketing towards me… I think I need to learn where the nearest IMC dealership is near me in the Pensacola area…so I can learn more about them. Great job on the review!

all good points, but i want to expound on the handle bars. i think the handbars are just one point of the comfort triangle. having a backrest and highway pegs to complement the bars is a significant game changer.

I traded in my gsxr 750 for a 2023 base challenger back in july. First time having such a heavy bike. Wanted to practice alow maneuvering but didnt get a chance because of my sugeries. I did put front and rear crash bars on it. I dropped it pulling into the garage. I am short 5'4 so im trying to see what other stuff ill need besides reduced reach bars. I wanted to go with the folsom prison reduced reach bars. I thought i could almost flat foot it but thats only if, i have my taichi riding shoes. I also added a klocks werks 11 inch light smoke screen. I know its too tall but I couldn't pass on the deal. What boots would you recommend for my height? i just need to build my confidence up with the bike. Especially since its so heavy. Got the lighted headdress to add for 32 bucks brand new and bought some rhinehart dbx45 slip ons yesterday.

The bar tip is definitely it. Was just down at a rally 10 hrs away from house. Stock bars on the way down, then i picked up some tab folsom prison bars and the bulk of the bending forward and hand nerve issues are gone now. I sit more upright and arms bent and that fixed a lot of the troubles i was having. Big difference. Don't change too much all at once though. Taking me a minute to get used to new seat and new bars.

Going from a ZX-14 to my Challenger Darkhorse...I've found that the front brake is NOT going to be my friend......almost the hard way...

Things I wish I Knew BEFORE buying my first motorcycle: 1. The basic riding course will not teach you how to be comfortable riding 2. Safety gear is expensive! 3. Saddlebags are important (first bike didn't have any) 4. Don't buy a bike without ABS

Just realized you’re from the Savannah area. I grew up down there. Bounced around from the south side off abercorne, on the east side off waters, port wentworth, pooler, ellabell, rincon and all that. Still got family out that way. It’s cool to see content creators from my hometown area. Love the bikes! Looking at getting either a Springfield Dark Horse or a Chief Darkhorse when I get home from deployment. Sharp bike

I bought a 2021 dark horse new 3 years ago. No issies in 18,000 miles. The 116 has all the power i need. With wife on back i go std, solo go to sport. Put bars off a vintage model, mustach and saddlebag crash bars before i topk it home. Have sonce did the quick release smoke windshield, back rest with luggage rack, Ultimate seat with rider backrest. Still impressed every time i ride it. If anyone ask why i bought a Indian i say "because is not a Harley"
