- Taken 10/3/23. #1911 and #1013 are generally frequent for M3's and this proves it. Sorry if the lighting isn't the best, but here's another trip in for my morning tour with #1911 once again. Enjoy!

Great upload!
Always enjoy your FWV rides!
Thanks for bringing out the kid in me!
Great Movie
Greetings from Switzerland
Wopee! The train is moving! 🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅😊😊😊
I have used LIRR for many years, on the line from Port Washington to NY Penn station. I went to Montauk via Jamaica twice.
I find these videos strangely relaxing. Plus, I miss riding the LIRR. What time of day was this? Only a couple E/B trains…

Very nice night ride. Have been watching and enjoying your M3 rfw videos for a while, from back when your full rides were in split part videos on UA-cam to what they are today, full length videos.
Great 👍
Trains 2152 and 1056 are normally always an M3 too. Both of these as well as 1060 (which i got to ride) was an M3 this past Thursday.
M3’s. …. When old was new. Still cool.
after 1 year of the three track main line
Why is the ride on the lirr so much smoother than the NYC subway?
The LIRR, like Metro-North and other railroads put more money into the comfort of their rail cars. The M3s still have their original wheel trucks that they arrived with from Budd. Also, a lot of commuter railroads tend to have longer turnouts (switch tracks) and movable point frogs making for a smother ride.
The problem with the NYCT older subway cars are their wheel trucks. All of their non-new tech cars use the same old trucks which rock uncomfortably. For example, if you look at photos of the R32, R44 and R46 cars, they came with trucks from their original manufacturers. Later on, the NYCT changed them to the trucks which all their old equipment have. All of the newer subway cars have their original trucks and are much smoother. Another problem is the NYCT tracks are much sharper in curvature and turnouts. They also use a lot more guard rails which cause more of a rough and noisy ride.
Are you piloting? Conducting?
Nope. Not Engineer qualified and have no interest. I'm in a different department and I'm happy there.
@@MrMaster767 Nice :) I'm an assistant conductor trainee
