The Kurt Angle match hurts me the most because Kurt was such an icon to me. His career deserved a much better ending, everyone expected Cena to be the final opponent, or at least someone who is expected to become a major star in WWE, but Vince, perhaps intentionally, had other plans. One of the most anticlimactic ends to a wrestling career, ever.
Dr. Death Steve Williams had his last match with Asylum Championship Wrestling in August 2009, four months before passing from throat cancer. The still shots alone will make you sad.
How about this deal, Larson will watch DX v Brothers of Destruction and Steve watches Nakamura vs Kota Ibushi match that larson always says he needs to watch
In fairness something like the Foley/Funk vs Piper/Orton match would just be kinda fun if you were at the show. You wouldn't be expecting a good match, you're just wanting to see the legends live.
The thing about Bruno is most of the national audience really had no connection to him and there wasn't this feeling old wrestlers needed some magical last run ending in a Mania match or whatever.
Gary Albright spontaneously died from a heart attack in the middle of a match during an indie house show. What makes it even sadder is that he was still under contract with All Japan, so when that happened, he was posthumously included in the Legends section of the Giant Gram 2000 roster - a game that was also in production when Giant Baba died. This meant that not one, but TWO wrestlers died while a game was being made, which has never happened again in the history of professional wrestling.
No other thumbnail besides this could truly embody a sad last match.
I choose to think that Randy's last match was against Spider-Man, cause that's how cool he is.
True
it was a cage match and he let the young guy go over
@@bobcatlewis87 love this 😂
Alright, now we gotta do a “10 best final matches” to boost our spirits after this tragedy
The problem is that there aren’t many. Way too few wrestlers have a happy ending to their career
@@Nick94956At least Sting got his best retirement match.
Jushin 'Thunder' Liger in NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14. Previous foes and present stars gave him one hell of a sendoff.

I had a feeling one of those Crown Royal "the princes are paying WWE to drag out the legends" matches was gonna be on here.
How about this deal, Larson will watch DX v Brothers of Destruction and Steve watches Nakamura vs Kota Ibushi match that larson always says he needs to watch
oooof that thumbnail ; the all lower case title too.
Omg, did these guys used to do top 10 gaming clips at Machinima? As a wrestling fan this is a huge flash of nostalgia hearing their voices again.
Yes they did!
Bret had the tights to wear but was too insecure to wear it unfortunately, resulting in the Jersey and jorts
I popped huge for ‘that does not happen’ in the count Voice 😂
Randy savage last singles match was against some jobber called the human spider in nyc who he put over for some reason back in 2002
If Angle waited a year we would've never got the Firefly Funhouse Match!
Oh boy, Rick what are you doing buddy.
7:45 nah, I forgot that happened too
53:03 Wyatt 6 are coming after Steve confirmed
I love the opportunity to help the friend is get engagement.

Does Jake Roberts at heroes of wrestling count?
Keane Reeves is older than Macho Man doing a lot of his own stunts in John Wick 🤷🏻♂️🤣

Bruno was promised that David his son would get pushed and the son never got the big push
Lmao this might be the best thumbnail ive ever seen for all the wrong reasons
“For the juggalos and juggalettes” 38:10
What a way to end the show. Talking about we’re all going to die 😂😂
32:10 Yeah, as someone who has HBK and HHH as their no1 and no2 respectively? This match has never happened and doesn't exist.
Is that the one where Constable Corbin screwed Strowman out of the title?
That flair one was bad...
Why is Ric's left arm so big in that match?
I think it’s flabby skin making it look bigger. Goes to show how old Flair was at that point
10 FTW?!?!?!?!?! OOHHHHHHHHH BOYYYY!!!!!!
Edit: ..... dissapointed ....
