Thanks for posting. We have two in our house. One is off by 30+ degrees, so I will probably end up replacing the heating unit. It's helpful to see this video knowing what to expect.
Thank you for the video. I have the same one and the previous owner said to have a spare heating element on hand for when it burns out. I see where I need to take mine down and clean it. It has some dust build up in it. Great information!
Great video. I have a model 765H110L that is identical to this inside. I replaced the heating element from Amazon and back in business. I had installed the fan 8 years ago and cleaned the outside grill every 6 months but never dropped the cover. Didn't realize how much dust and dirt built up inside. I think when that drops the air flow down over the heater it lets the heating element get warmer lowering the resistance and it draws more current and that takes out the fuse they have solder in at the end with the connector. The element of the heater seems to be intact.
Thank you for the video. I just had to replace the heating element in ours and your video was informative....helped me know what to expect and saved time. Thanks!
Good video. Thanks. The exhaust fan is a bear to get out. I’m looking at mine, it looks like 2 screws and then maybe bend the sides out and then lower. I’ll be looking for the fan removal video. Oh…I can get it out…but I don’t want to break it. Thanks for the tips. 👍😊
I just used this video to replace mine! Side note - this model had problems with the element, so if you call Broan customer service with your model # they will send you a free part! Mine took about 2 weeks to arrive, but it was free :-)
Mine shot out a red hot ember at me in the shower.... Today I opened it and blew it out as best as I could with 90 psi air compressor. Turned it back on.... It smells funky and worried but going to watch it for ten mins and then 20 mins off it being off. We use this every day a few times a day, colder bathroom in winter to warm up while using restroom lol. Also kids don't know and use it during summer lots too so it still gets dust build up within like 2 years where it shot out dusty embers at me lol.
@@Rebar617 I was going to take my fan out to clean the blade but ran into the same problem. Did you pry on the end with the 2 screws after removing them or on the sides where there is a slight indention on each side? My model is the 765H110L but looks identical inside as shown in this video.
Thank you for posting. This will certainly help me replace the heating element on my 8-yr old unit - much cheaper than buying an entirely new unit.
glad it helped
Ordered the heating element off Broan’s website…..removal and installation was a breeze thanks to your video! Much thanks! Definitely subscribing!👍👍
Thank you for this video. I wouldn't be attempting to replace the heating element without your advice. Really useful.

Thanks for you kind words!! Yeah I think you are right about the fuse. I wish this cover came off easier, then more people would clean them better.

How do you remove that fan motor? I am having a hard time removing it..it does not pop out easily...Thank youHope
I think it is just held with clips but not sure sorry
@@JustADad having the same issue, can't get the fan out.
figured it out, take the 2 screws out, then gently pry the tab out, it'll swing out.
