I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. I searched up how to become a millionaire, and some videos with young people with titles like “a millionaire by 23: the secret no one tells you”, “how I became a millionaire by 24: step by step”, etc. And then I saw you and I was like, no, the only guy I trust with advice of all sorts is you. Those other people are probably just promoting some courses or whatever. You, though, you are the real deal.
*Nobody becomes a millionaire or a billionaire by working for others and depending on them*
Can’t people have high paying jobs and become a millionaire from that?

He's talking about majority of jobs that depends on an income from organizations or wealthy individuals you can't be a millionaire working for others that's the unspoken truth you either keep working your whole life get a family and finally die or risk something that's big but have a probability to win big. No safe choices here you either want to risk it or not.

work smarter not harder
I wish you all the luck, but please be careful about your sleep. Unless you've got one specific mutation of ADRB1 gene, you NEED to sleep at least 7 hours a day. If you don't, it's very likely you will pay for this deficiency in the future with medical problems. I learned this the hard way. It's much better to take your time and develop your career for two or three years longer than to die 20 years earlier than you were supposed to.
Sleep right. Take care of yourself, getting ahead a little quicker is not worth that cost

I recently inherited almost $500k. I REALLY need to make this money work for me, and not just disappear over time. All roads have pointed to the equity market of some sort which is a good idea buh where else should I put money besides the equity/stock market?

Consistently investing in quality dividend paying companies over the long term is a relatively easy strategy to create generational wealth.
If you invest $2,545 into the S&P, then assuming a 10% annual rate of return, your child at the an early retirement age will be a Million plus rich, excluding every other income channeled to this. We need to invest much more.

And it was until recently that I got my first job on a company that I realized "wait a minute, that one's who are making the big bucks are the wigs while here we are the employees getting only the scraps".
