Thats a great set up very light weight will have to get one thanks
I have thought about getting the lenscoat blind. That chair would really make a big difference in being comfortable. Thanks Steve.
That's an awesome option!. I will look for just that. ❤🇨🇦
I love how quick it is to set up! Great vid!
Thanks for watching!
I have looked at this still of blind meself. The chair I like too. Thanks for the information!
You are welcome Henry! Thanks for watching!
I'd say that this is the best combo I've seen so far.
I would consider two strips of 4mm plywood for the chair feet to rest on. If I did 3D printing, I would try to make something that spreads the weight for the legs.
That's a great idea!
Your video was tremendously helpful for me - thanks so much !
Glad it was helpful!
Hello, fellow youtuber and wildlife photographer. I appreciate you doing this review. I been struggling as I do more filming of my wildlife adventures with ultra light gear. I like things to be very light as you seem to be having the same issue. Once again I really appreciate the help and as you know every pound really helps. Also I subscribed !!!
Thanks very much! I will be sure to check out your channel!
Great video and info. Looks like a good option. 👍🏻🤠🍻🇸🇪
Thank you Jon!!
Tks for this fine alternative as a hide
Grts from Belgium
Thank you Johan!
Hi! I think I have the same, called a Lenscoat. Looks exactly like this. I only got it now, but I'm really excited to see what it will bring in front of the camera. Assuming the necessary patience.
Yes that is the one. It does take patience but it can be very rewarding. Good luck!
This is perfect, in our area there is no camping (unless you are homeless lol) and you have to be on the path not sleeping. Enforcement sees standard photo blinds as "tents" and will ticket you for illegal camping. This is pure photos so should be much easier to get by with
Glad you found this helpful John. Thanks for watching!
Evening Steve. Another great video. Hoping you're travelling a bit better mate. 2021 was a tough gig for ya. All the best.
Thanks very much David. Hope to get back in the game after surgery in February
Excellent review !!
Thank you!
My only complaint is the birds like turkey key on movement and this would definitely scare them off.
Yes, it certainly is not a perfect solution, however it is very portable. Thanks for watching!
These are really good. I have a pop up hide which are more cumbersome to carry, a nightmare to fold back up, but more importantly, are very unnatural looking. I think your set up blends in more. I’m currently using action cameras to get my footage however I am running out of subjects due to lockdown.
I am limited as well for subjects, hopefully my local wildlife will come around.
Hey , pretty cool... I have the hide and a small folding chair. But that chair is much smaller for sure. OK... I am picky, but it would be nice if the frame was black like the fabric. lol Does it come in camo? lol Greg
They do make one with black legs and a tan seat, but I didn't see that one until after I ordered the blue one. But since it's covered by the blind I will deal with it, LOL!
@@stevecookphotography Funny, I looked it up after watching and found the tan one as well. I have been enjoying your videos... Greg
The only issue about that solution, that I tried several times, is that you can't move so much inside, otherwise animals see you and escape
Great video. Thanks 🙏🏻 . I found the Lenscoat hide to have low visibility. The window for viewing out is small and makes it hard to see birds approaching the perch. Just my experience.
Thank you and thanks for watching! I can see fairly well through the mesh if I keep it straightened out but it definitely can be distracting.
Can't CU ....
