Thank you, presentation was professionally done. Information I needed. New sub. I’m planning on blocking with 2 x 10 and using pocket screws for mounting. Maybe 3/4 Plywood on walls that are a tight fit. My project started as fix the wall paper next to the tub, don’t look behind the wall paper.
Thank you for your comments! The 2x10 is perfect. My preference is to use 2 x 10, 2 x 8, and sometimes 2 x 6 if I know when the grab bar is going to be positioned. Wider is always better as it gives you more flexibility in your grab bar placement. I like using the pocket screws in tight spaces or when placing the blocking between every stud. I hope to upload another couple of videos this week that shows why blocking is a great solution if you have to remodel or do new construction. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for watching. Daryl
