@@moblack5883 nice I’m just getting into fishing and I know nothing. I just bought the Nasci 2500FC… I’ll be mostly bank/pier freshwater fishing. I was going to get the 1000 but I figured I’d need the extra casting length and being a noob didn’t want to have to deal with as much line twist casting. I’m think of running fluorocarbon line but apparently braided is the rage now?
the fall albie run this year has been absolutely insane!
I haven’t gotten on them as much as I’d like but I’ve been trying. Haha.
Love it man. Keep up the good work!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you brotha! Keep slayin!
Great video mate! Fish on!!!
Thank you!
How’s that Nasci holding up in the saltwater man? 🤔
Its been fine. I had some problems with the drag clicker on a 4000 but my 3000 has been flawless.
killin it!
Thanks dude. Gotta keep you with something to watch. Haha.
Was that a Vanford your buddy was fishing?
Yep, my 4000.
Hey just ordered the nasci! What rod is that
Awesome dude! I have it on a 6-12lb rod.
How’s the reel holding up, I’m thinking of getting one for inshore snook trout
I’m still loving it man. My buddy is actually about to outfit his inshore charter business with them.
@@ericwilliamsfishing alright great, I don’t see the reel on bass pros some reason
@@frostizz2072 Inventory is low on everything right now, across the board.
Is that a fenwick rod 🤙 wats the specs
Wat size reel u using
This is a Star Rod 6-14lb line rating and a 3000 size Shimano Nasci. It's a killer combo dude. I'm also running 25lb braid.
Would you recommend a 3000 or 4000? I’m looking to get a big fish setup for striped bass and musky.
I think you would be fine with either to be honest.
Go with 4000 size, bigger main gear drive thus more torque
how did you spool it
Take it to a pro shop and have them do it with the machine.
Whats the lengh and power of the star rod?
The one that I'm using in this video is 6-14 lb.
Does the frame flex at all by the reel seat?
I haven’t noticed any flex but I’ll pay more attention it on my next trip.
What lure are you using?
This is a gold 1oz Kastmaster.
its metal frame body?
It’s graphite.
@@ericwilliamsfishing the reel or the rod?
@@greg6162 the reel is that plastic polymer.
Dude Reel 1000 or 2000
This was a 3000 but for smaller fish, either would be fine.
just picked up a 1000 today....I'm so ready to catch something heck anything on it. I'll take a sand trout about right now.
You are going to love it man. I’m excited for you.
