@@CosmicSphinx I truly want to make a whole vlog just sharing the art of all my Peruvian artist friends 😍 a plan for next visit!
Que linda idea! 🏵️@@Caro.Arevalo
Thank you so much ♥
I miss beautiful Peru - I spent 2 years living with the Shipibos near Pucallpa and spent many months near Iquitos immersing myself in the stunning plant-centric culture of the selva.. I miss it so much - what I wouldn't give for a cup of fresh guayusa right now (fresh not dried which is all you are able to find to buy online these days. unfortunately).. I miss you, beautiful Peru!!!
So special to be home ❤ can’t wait to see your journey with plants from Peru. You would already have such a connection with them. ❤
I love this one Caro! Indigenous art speaks so deeply to me, as someone who is trying to preserve some of my own community's indigenous art practices.
South American art is on whole another level. Wow, so vibrant and colorful
Been to Lima several times on my transitions to the jungle. Hope to visit it again some day. Thank you very much for igniting my memories, this way truly lovely. I especially enjoy all things indigenous art so I`m very happy that you showed some exhibitions in your video. Oh, and granadilla!!! J`adore
Everything is just so beautiful ❤️
so beautiful granadilla reminds me of a fruit lilikoi we have here on hawaii :) i think they are in the same passion fruit family :) i enjoy all of the colors and textures you share :) thank you for your calming offerings
Beautiful share. Thank you. It's lovely to see you back home. 🥰
What a fantastic video. Thanks for sharing ❤

@@creativehummingbird5366 thank you 💛 it's harry chavez, all the artist's names are on the video when I start\ sharing their work 🌞

@@olkin85 omg thank you saying that! I felt this wasn't my best filming job and wish I would've done better 🫠
Mi Caro linda.... I love this vlog! The cumbia, the fruit, the colors, the chifa, hearing your experience returning back to Lima. More travel vlogs asi pls! Also granadia is the best. love that you did a cacao ceremony in Peru. so special. tqm amiga.
@@sacredceowithjess *cries in Peruvian* gracias amigaaaa 🧡 daydreaming of going together with Flo one day :)
I call granadillas “yellow passion fruits.” 😂 It’s my favorite fruit to try to find when I’m in warm places! Yum!!
So lovely 🌷🌸
Love this video 💛🌞
I loved seeing you share your very special culture. What a wonderful group of artist friends you have there as well.
Thank you for sharing a part of Lima. It's very interesting and inspiring. Have a good moment there.❤
Such a treat 😍😍😍
I'm Brazilian currently living in Europe and I feel the same way about fruits, food, culture and nature when I return to my beautiful country! :) 'Granadilla' you showed looks like "maracujá" (passion fruit)
@@mid_me oh I hear you! lots of us living far away from our home countries feel this way, and I feel we can all understand one another in that way 🤍 granadilla is in the family of passiflora! so close member of maracuya (passion fruit) but a very different taste
it's not the same fruit - maracuja is very sour with bright orange pulp surrounding the seeds while granadilla has a grey, sweet pulp surrounding the seeds - they look similar but in reality are totally different tastes.. maracuja also has a crinkly outside while granadilla is smooth and rounded.. sigh.. I miss tropical fruit so much
Какая у вас богатая культура, обилие растительного мира, фруктов. Связь с Родиной это всегда важно.
Excellent work, beautiful hometown 👌👍
Que boa energia Caro ❤ granadilla me lembrou o maracujá que temos aqui no Brasil :), melhor suco para beber e tirar uma soneca, mastigar as sementes é uma sensação única
Hola Caro 💓 the Granadia is called a Passion Fruit in English and Lilikoi in Hawaiian. Your work is very nice xo. Best wishes for you and our world.
@@justinedelfino8276 hi Justine! Thank you for your sweet message :) Granadilla is not Passion fruit 💛 but they are both in the same family of Passifloras! It's wild how close they look alike right? we algo have passion fruit in Peru and it's called Maracuyá, the flavor of Granadilla isn't as tangy or citrus, it is refreshing and a little like aloe? Hahaha I can't find the words to describe it
Hello dear Caro,
thank you for your advice. I'm going to watch this video of your trip to Petú.
I've never been there, but I visited Colombia twice.
The song you have right at the beginning is "La Colegiala".
I still remember the text: "Hoy te he visto con tus libros caminando y tu carita de coqueta colegiala de mi amor."
I was 15 or 16 years old at thiis time.
I really love this video of your home country.
Perhaps one day I'm going to visit Lima.
If it is okay for you,I'm going to write my comments in Spanish witch is a bit easier for me.✨
Hermoso Lima! 😍
i really enjoyed this one. so many cool things. I wish it had been a little longer. 😊🙏
@@buddhabro.9130 thank you! Aghh yes me too I wish I would be filmed more, I was definitely overstimulated by wanting to do all the things at the same time in such little time, but I'll definitely be filming more next time I go ❤️
❤❤❤❤❤

Nice 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Love
Is granadilla like parcha/passion fruit?
Would you recommend Lima as a place for someone who's never been to Peru to visit?
@@creationslandscapedesigns it wouldn't be the only place I'd recommend! I love the jungle, the northern beaches and the andes way more! Lima is amazing if you want to eat the most delicious food, but so is the rest of our country ❤️
@Caro.Arevalo thanks it's on my bucket list of places to go
Donde está ese mariposario?! que hermoso
