Colourful is exactly what this cabin is. But let me add another word too. Tasteful. You managed to incorporate colour without going too far over the top. In a way it's almost subtle compared to how it could have been designed. I've said it before but you blend colour schemes really well, and your fine eye for detail will never go unnoticed. I had a little chuckle when you were deciding your chairs for around the dining table. But i notice this a lot with your builds. It's like you are working on the fly at times and try something then decide it will look better another way, or using something else. A natural artist if i may say so. I adore this cabin a great deal.🙂 Thank you for the inspiration you provide also. You use items i would never have considered before watching your videos. Modular frames and supports, door frames before adding doors, and the list goes on. I am looking forward to learning more and improvising with my own builds.🙂
There are a lot of times I will do things over 3 or 4 times but I cut it out of the video because I don't want to annoy the viewer but yes, I do spend a lot of time (too much sometimes) trying to get everything just right. Sometimes I spend ages on things that I end up removing or something insignificant that no one ends up seeing. Like bushes behind other bushes that don't even make it in the video. It's become even worse in House Flipper 2 because of the transform tool. You can move anything anywhere in any rotation and there are tons of colors and textures for each item. I'll spend ages changing the color of a candle, lol. Anyway, I am happy you liked this house. I was really happy with it and had so much fun making it. This is one house, however, that I regret not doing landscaping in the back. I could and should have made a beautiful backyard of a forest with a picnic table and maybe a pond and bridge or something. I might go back and do that someday! 😊

It took ages to pick the right colors for the walls, once I have something pictured in my mind I can't seem to adjust to what the game has to offer very easily so I will spend so much time trying to get it to match what I have in my head. Yes, it is difficult to find just the right in-game colors compared to one's vision. I was so surprised to see this pop up as I'm nearly done with a cabin build. But it's plain Jane compared to your lovely work. Your attention to detail really pays off!! :)

Yes, the Farm DLC allows for custom building on the empty lots and also the ability to create additions to some of the houses.
