dude there were so many times during this i started screaming "NOOO WAY DUDE NO WAY" after you did something flabbergastingly cool like the stairs and that reading nook, immediately followed
There is so many good idea in this build, the circular window nook, the diamond window and the log stair, I really love it, it's so beautiful (and that clutter too)
Thank you so much CitronVert! I have been watching your build in progress on Discord and I'm looking forward to see how it turns out. I love the structure so far! I love how you built the internal structure first and am intrigued! 😊
Oh my.....well here's a first. Grown man almost welling up just a little due to the quaint beauty of a cottage build within a video game. Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most and when your reading nook in the window came together i really had to take a moment to gather myself. I think it just personally hit me due to a long term dream i always had for a place to relax and read, or draft notes for writing, with a view of wildlife out of the window. And today i see this dream come to life, albeit not within my actual reality. But the next best thing. So thank you. I am very quickly running out of words to express how much i love the creations you make, for yourself firstly to then share with all of us. This cottage would easily be my little retirement home as it has everything to calm the mind and feel safe and content, all within a relatively small space. You have designed a really beautiful open plan home that welcomes in the outside with the colours and the plants, and even when retiring for the night that same vibe remains because the theme continues up in the loft. And thanks to the open nature of the build one never really loses the overall spaciousness. Inside and out, another quality creation oozing detail and personal touches. And a nice helping of petunias planted outside i noticed. Nice choice.😁 Really appreciate the efforts you make. (And even though i won't be able to craft anything like your reading nook, it has inspired me to try something of this nature when i eventually reach the top floor of my HF1 windmill renovation.)🙂
I was looking forward to you watching this one. I had always wanted to do a Cottagecore build in HF1 but I couldn't figure out how to get all the stuff I needed in the right places, like up on the walls and packed in tightly so when I figured out the transform tool in HF2, I knew I was going to do a Cottagecore build. I definitely think you could create a book nook in HF1 and I would love to hear how it turns out when you get there! I really want to work on something that is not an open plan. Most, if not all, of my houses are open plan houses because I love the roominess that offers but I do want to create something with defined rooms, probably a Victorian. I had a request for a Gothic style house so I might try it soon. Although not my style at all, it will put me outside of my comfort zone, which is a good thing! Thank you so much for watching. I hope your house in House Flipper is going well!
At risk of sounding non intelligent, what actually is Cottagecore? I'm a little like you i think because open space is more preferable in a build than defined enclosures. A Gothic style house sounds interesting, but i also like the idea of something Victorian. Good luck with whatever you choose. MY next video of yours is the Tree House....and it is one i really am looking forward to because it's something i would like to consider when i invest time into HF2. Probably be tomorrow though when i watch this. Thank you for your thoughts regarding the book/reading nook. I will certainly let you know the result though it won't be any time soon. I am a slow builder. My current build is gradually coming along though i have only done the ground floor of the windmill because i built an extension to the outside which has given me a courtyard which will include a wraparound kitchen, diner and living room. There is also a roof garden. My time has been taken up with these so only now starting on the kitchen. I don't have the creative mind that you have when it comes to design though but i am happy with it so far.
House Flipper 2 is great as far as sandbox mode goes. I haven't played much of the story mode yet because I am having so much fun with the sandbox tools and the tools are different between the two different modes. But what I have played in story was fun. 😊
I call dibs on the book nook 😍😍😍 In fact, on the whole house cause it's just so perfect 🥰🥰🥰 That hexagonal bedroom window is just spectacular - and the vines around it are the perfect dressing!! It's interesting to see what we all come up with while we're waiting for the devs to give us some window coverings - I resized and flipped around some rugs today to use as blinds 😅😅
This is amazing, now people can use actual floorplans to build these houses! Like a mock house to test out floorplans, great for students in architecture!!
Thank you! Yes, the tools available in sandbox mode are great, I think if they add a few more things like round walls, true diagonal walls, and community created content for items then this game would be so amazing. 😊
Hello GIGI Games, I really liked your house. It's full of color and life. You are very creative and I like your work. Congratulations and much success.
The tools are not as fine tuned as Sims and the game has way less items than Sims and currently no cc to make up for that. The thing I really like about House Flipper is the way you build and design and that you can walk though the build. I think this game has the potential to be the best build and design game out there but they have to fine tune their tools, add more content and items, and give us a workshop (cc). There is also a Story mode that I have not really played where you have jobs to do.
@@GiGiDesignGames Oh gosh yeah, i can totally imagine how the game would be greatly improved by using CC. It seems like it has so much potential to be a must-play design game!
@@GiGiDesignGames That makes sense. I yearn for the perfect building/decorating game. I know the sims exists still, but I Just want one streamlined game to express that kind of creativity!
I usually use some sort of inspiration from things I see online to get ideas of what to do and then tweak them. It could be something really small like a cool alcove for a sink (which I still want to do) or the front of a house, or two houses that I combine. Sometimes I just start building and see where it goes (which is usually in the trash, lol) but sometimes it ends up good. So ya, it just depends. 😊 @@makayla5519
omg, my fyp recommend your video to me and I couldn't be more entertained!!!! i never had watched a video on building in house flipper 2, I normally stick to the sims, but your thumbnail caught my attention! keep the good work!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video even though it isn't what you would normally watch. I also watch Sims videos from time to time and have seen some amazing things created in Sims. Hopefully one day House Flipper will have as many abilities to create as Sims does. I saw this one Sims video a couple months ago that was absolutely stunning. It was a modern luxury barn by Sarina_Sims. It made me want to play the game again lol. Thank you for watching my video! 😊
I cant wait for these new house flipper building channels/youtubers to start absolutely popping tf off once they finally add a steam workshop for custom furniture and items like in HF1
Thank you! I'm glad they are helpful. I would love to leave in everything but then the video would be 10 hours long, lol. Which details are you looking for and I can do my best to leave those parts in. 😊
Gigi and hers Midas' touch! She is the best👏👏👏 . She is supposed to be called MaGiGic😊. (sorry about the English mistakes, I just speak and write portuguese)😅
Thank you! I'm not a decorator but I do love to look at interior design pictures online and I love watching those house flipping shows and room design shows. ❤️
I'm baffled at how people can make such beautiful creations in sandbox mode. I can't even put a roof on a house in sandbox mode 😂 The roof mechanic is so fiddly to me.
I have a tutorial on sandbox mode tools and I go over the roof mechanic very close to the beginning. There are chapters as well you so you can just jump to the roofing. There is a tool called transform tool in sandbox that lets you resize and move which is a must (I think) when building the roof. 😊
As someone who doesn't own the game - is it possible to change the season and weather outside of buildings? And do you think it would be possible to build a vampire-style villa with dark victorian interior and big gothic windows?
I have had a couple requests for this style of build and I will definitely be working on one soon. One of my favorite creators, @emeraldtriesgaming just did a dark gothic style Victorian house so I want to wait a few but I will definitely do one! The game does not have weather yet as far as I know. I believe there have been requests for this and the game creators tend to listen to the community so maybe one day. I would LOVE some snow, I have a build in mind that requires snow. 😊❤️
I'm mostly just sitting here wondering if this build will be possible on my PS5 cause that's what I have this game on and the controls on that are weird lol
I have a question, in regular mode flipper 2, how to you resize the resizable shrubs, they say they can be but I don't know what the key is for resizing them? Sorry to take your time, but I have tried everything and I love your builds :)
The ability to resize items is not available in Story mode and I really hope they add that ability soon but right now you can't resize them in Story, only Sandbox.
I do remember, a golden mansion which sounds fabulous! I know they are coming out with an item update soon where they are adding some items so I would like to wait and see what else they are giving us before I tackle this one. When I make the mansion I want it to be amazing! ❤️❤️
Thank you. My name is GigiGames on Mod.io. I have a few houses on there now and I might add this one as well. This one would be hard to turn into a quest though because there is already so much stuff. I could add some dirt and vacuumable items and maybe some stuff outside but the inside already seems jam packed with items lol.
Yes, it is a pay to play game and currently only available on PC. You can get the game through Steam and I know they have specials every now and then. It will not be released on console until sometime in March.
I don't really like how the first game looks even if the gameplay is satisfying, that's why I don't play it. The second game looks way better imo. Or it may be your build skills lol
Thank you! House Flipper 2 can look really cartoony or pretty realistic (to me anyway). It just depends on which items and finishes you use. I am so used to the graphics now that I may be biased but I love the game. It is so fun and you have a lot more flexibility when building. I wish there was a workshop and more items but that will come in time I'm sure. 😊
