I truly can not tell you how much JOY the both of you bring to me when I watch your videos!! You make the new album experience so much more enjoyable so thank you for your amazing, authentic, hilarious, and insightful content 🤍🖤
‘He was a hothouse flower to my outdoorsman’ is one of Taylor’s best lyrics. Taylor had to tend to Joe like a gardener tends a flower, except Joe was temperamental and liked to stay inside while Taylor thrives in public.
I was also blown away by the genius of this lyric. Like could there be a more succinct, poetic way to describe their most fundamental difference? My jaw dropped, truly.
I want to see you guys react to folklore/evermore again now that we know what we know about Matty. I firmly believe his story started way earlier than we thought and while those characters may have been “fictional” and not based on Taylor’s life, the story was absolutely personal. I can’t unsee it. Lingered like a Tattoo kiss, haunted all of her what if’s. The porch light, Peter losing Wendy, the smoke hung around far too long…..sounds like Matty to me, there’s plenty more, but you all know the lyrics too 😊 Illicit affairs….And you know damn well, for you, I would ruin myself, A million little times. I’ll tell you something right now, I’d rather burn my whole life down! 😁
We can comment on whatever we want to as fans. As long as we were not violent or too over the top. For example, death threats and such, like wishing somebody dead, is of course over the line. 😊 But if we don't approve of a guy watching black women being tortured and brutalized, we should be allowed to express our opinions. So Taylor needs to grow up and deal, and if she doesn't like it, she doesn't have to read the comments.
@@saratemp790 she doesn't have the power to police your speech but she can tell you to shut the fuck up and stop bitching and moaning 😊 and she can also call you a judgmental creep. So YOU can deal with that.
I'm going to help out Taylor with a little PR. Yes she can be upset that fans commented negatively on Matty Healy. And she can be allowed to express that, and that's fine. However, mocking her fans is not a good look. She should understand that fans did that for a reason, not just for the heck of it. So instead, what she should do is, maybe write about how she understands that her fans could be upset, but that she feels they're misjudging his whole character from only a few statements taken out of context. And then she can write about, that she appreciates the concern, and she will keep everybody's opinions in mind, and of course try to work on helping the people around her grow and improve as people, but in the end, she knows the people in her life the best, and she will make her own decisions. And she would like everyone to at least be aware to express themselves in a way that takes into consideration that these are real people and real feelings they are talking about. There you go, PR for free, and you didn't even need to pay me a million dollars for it.
I didn't get a mocking tone from How Did It End at all. Just an honest portrayal of how it feels for her knowing millions of people want an explanation for something she herself doesn't even truly understand. Bonny and Emily are intuitive enough to know they are not immune to that general curiosity while knowing Taylor isn't condemning them for it. It's just a universal response when you hear someone broke up, and this song explores that in a pretty fascinating way.

Its not for you to set the boundary of privacy
@@mathies3598 nor is it for Taylor to police our speech. If she likes troll bots trying to tell us what to do she can move to Russia
This song isn't even about Matty
