Hi Julia. I so enjoy your videos. You are so clever and creative. I wish you were my neighbor. I wish you all the best life has to offer. I’m always so happy to see new videos from Stitches by Julia. Take care.
Thanks so much for this video, I'm referring back to it already. Really useful, and you kind of take the fear out of doing words, like remind us there's not just one right way to do this, but many choices.
I have learned so much from you...needed better quality pin backings and just ordered from your source. I love your whimsical style and your tutorials are wonderful! Thank you!
Thanks so much Donna, for watching and your kind words. It's a little scary getting myself out there but I love sharing my process. Have a great day! Julia
Hi Julia. Is always a pleasure watching your videos. I have learned so much from you. Question: The Muslim fabric you use it has some discoloration that I love , do you prepared the fabric before you do your projects? Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful inspirations💝✂️✂️.
Love your designs, and learning a lot from all your video's! In this film you use a printer. Is it a normal printer for paper with normal ink (for paper)?
Hi, I use an inexpensive Ink Jet printer. Mine is a Canon. It was around $40. Test the ink if you want to get it wet. I find that the black is more permanent than colored ink. I heat set with my iron. Thanks for watching! Julia
I Love your work and designs ! They are SEW CUTE!!!! What kind of printer and ink do you use ? Will an inkjet printer work ? I just love your videos !!! Thank you for sharing your ideas and tips!💗🤗
Thank you so much for your kind words and taking the time to comment! I use a cheap Canon printer from Walmart-under $40. I run all sorts of weird things through my printer (burlap etc) and don't want to ruin an expensive one LOL. It is an inkjet printer. Keep in mind that this type of ink is not permanent- but heat setting does help. Also the black ink seems to be more permanent than the colored ink. Hope this helps...Julia
Quick question... why did you not fill the remaining blank spaces with different writing to use in another project. Or perhaps you do..just not on the tutorial
Hi Vicki, Yep I fill up the whole sheet eventually. I will run it back through my printer from the other end. I think I cut this one short because of doing it on video.
Hi Julia, what is the name of that paper that you can see through and use transfer pens to write words backward for transfer? Where can it be purchased? Thank you.
Hi Bonnie, So sorry it has taken me awhile to get back. I use deli paper. Tracing paper would also work. You want to be able to see through it. Here's an Amazon link to deli paper:amzn.to/2OjxBmv Happy creating! Julia

Hi Julia. Is that a laser printer?
Hi Lucy, No it is an ink jet. The black ink is more permanent than the color ink. Hope this helps.
