At 35:45 I think he says 'it can't move and shoot' though on page 63 of the Skaven Rule book, it specifically says they can move and shoot. Maybe I am just hearing it wrong, it was a bit hard to hear at that moment.
Loved the music in the background but might be a good idea to turn it down just a little so we can hear the players. And Steve was thinking he was playing wood elf with BS4 on the whole armie

Why no witch hunter? they're powerful as heck when I use them. Pretty much solely beat a chaos army thanks to my one little witch hunter who doesn't have a saving role. He's like a glass cannon. Does a crap ton of damage to chaos especially but is a tad weak when he gets hit.

Agreed towards the end there. It would have been better for that Skaven unit of slaves to charge in than be demigryph chow. The rolls this game though is what sealed his fate. That doomwheel was sure taking its time, and constant rules of 2 for lightning damage, ugh.
He shouldnt bring two doomwheels anyhow, they are way to unreliable.. He should get the screaming bell, hope for a freenzy ring on it, and get into close combat fast.. Skaven needs to march as much as possible every round to close the gap fast or they are screwed..
+John W I have a doomwheel that I use everygame. I have yet to see it do something useful apart from that one time it killed a high elf dragon. I love the model so I keep using it, but it is hard to make it actually do something
My opponent usually played Ogre Kingdoms. What I'd do typically was is send the Doomwheel to the back of his army and use it to pick off Leadbelchers. If the Doomwheel stopped or killed those leadbelchers, it go its points worth. Occasionally, when it did survive, I'd just use it to rear charge and help envelop his front line and then when I'd win, he'd chase and run the ogres down. I never played Bell and Slaven though. My main line troops were Stormvermin with command plus Clanrats on the flank. I relied heavily on artillery and support, and used my doomwheel and HPA to take out my opponents tough units. I'd also treat a rat ogre unit fully upgraded as a speed bump. I chose the classic envelop strategy, and I always build (even in other systems) lists in a 2nd generation warfare style of infantry backed up by bunch of artillery and support weapons. So maybe it was my style, my strategy or my opponent's army that made the doomwheel so effective.
The doomwheel drivers on that first Skaven turn: "It's the gearbox, man; I'm telling' ya!"

A bell is just a big points sink from what I've seen. He should have used a HPA instead of two doomwheels.
