I prefer the "cinematic introduction" of Rome 1 and Medieval 2 instead of just "campaign hovering"...

This guy seems really bad at managing his sons.

Nothing beat the good ol' "I hate Gauls..." and that comes from a Seleucid Empire Player from Rome 1.

Tbh, I would prefer how they did it in three kingdoms. Where the advisor talks and the legendary character chimes in with their own line. But then again why is the pharaoh of Egpyt talking when Irsu is on the scene and he is a whole other faction? That's a weird choice of creative assembly to do.

Really disappointing. Why didn't CA have the respective characters narrate their introductions like in WH2?

It's like in rome two where the advisor voices all the intros.

There is literally nothing cinematic about these . Just showing CampaignMap . Unimpressive .

There is two cinematic clips in this game. One with scarab(official trailer) and second at the beginning of every campaign. I used part of second clip in the ending of my video.

The Old Testament: Total War might unironically be really good.

The Tomb Kings in WH2 had a better cinematic than this.

Seriously, you are whining about Celopatra, you clearly know nothing about Egyptian timelines.

Your a fair few centuries and several dynasties too early for Cleopatra. Hell, the homeland of Cleopatra’s ancestors, Macedonia, haven’t even remotely began to adopt the trappings and ways of Hellenistic culture yet at the period this game takes place.

Why would an inbred Macedonian princess from the 40 BCE’s be around at the end of the Bronze Age

This game is set 1,200 years before Cleopatra.
