Yeah, great guide for newcomers! I really hope they don't simplify the crit mechanics, they already F it up with ailment effect... Totally not asked an unnecessary change.

I may have missed it but is there a difference between increased crit and more crit?

Base x "increased" x "more". More is a different multiplier

i think you forgot to mention that some spears have implicit with +base crit, from +(3-6)% to +(4-7)%

I don't see any spear builds that exist currently. It's unfortunate, but spears don't really have a home.

When calculating damage let’s say you have 75% crit and you have a skill like idk smite doing 25k damage - in general is it better to scale:
Crit multi
Spell damage
Lightning damage
I’d assume it goes in order flat damage- crit multi- spell/adaptive/AS but i might be wrong

On my void smite hammer throw VK and I'm using the Locket of the Forgotten Knight and a rune dagger and the Blade of the Forgotten Knight. Works fairly well. Not sure it's fully optimized though.

Smite has a ton of base crit available in its skill tree -- I suspect that unless you're going for the 3 Piece Set, the amulet is not worthwhile
