exterio as waking the dragon will always be funny to me. as a SHS player saying "summon battleball use effect make train with exterio" will always be funny
Thunder Dragon Colossus can be Special Summoned by tributing a non-Fusion Thunder effect monster during the turn a Thunder monster's effect was activated in the hand, not just your hand. Theoretically, this means if your opponent activated the effect of a Thunder monster in their hand during your turn, then you could use Colossus' Summoning condition without having to activate the effect of a Thunder monster in your own hand.
Also Winda played a part in TOSS with Orcust since they could bring it out with Instant Fusion and just protect it with Dingirsu so that it's live on their opponent's turn.
You don't search Cyber Stein just because you have access to Gigantic Champion Sargas. That card only searches Therions, but Springans typically search it with Gear Gigant X, which they can make because most of the maindeck monsters are Machines. I don't see a way for decks who can make Sargas to search out Stein unless they resort to Spright Sprind/Elf shenanigans.
when i was young and would play with friends for fun, the Thunder Dragon was awesome to use because we werent playing with competitive decks, and the idea of getting multiples of this guy and using Axe or something like that really worked out sometimes we forget how its like when youre just having a good time with card games
Keeping with the theme of accomodating anime-buddy staples, I'd like to see Claw of Hermos provide a Fiend-type weapon/Fusion based monster via the Summoned Skull/Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning, forming an archfiend sickle. Be a fun little back-up if the Skull isn't being fused into the Black Skull Dragon or its retrain.
18:30 I vividly remember when a friend of mine wanted to play with his first ever yugioh deck, which is shaddolls. As someone who just got back into the game thanks to the Crimson King sd I brought over my one copy of Crimson King and got absolutely beaten into the ground. We later switched to EDOPro, so we can test different cards before buying them, but also to learn to play our decks properly, as we very likely made dozens of mistakes when we played in person. I ran a more budget oriented build of Crimson King, but with a full Bystal package, which scared him enough in game one, that he did not want to summon Winda in game two. He later discovered Tearlaments and we still have to get together again, so he can test his Shaddoll + Tearlament deck and I can test both a new RDA version and the Ashened cards, because I'm curious if Ashened could break through the fusion spam that his deck will turbo through. At least Ashened would have options to deal with Winda's floodgate using Hero, Veidos, Superpoly or the other fusion effects from the 2nd wave cards. Or simply by bouncing Winda back with Spearhead. Though that all depends on wether or not his upgrades include some handtraps, as he did not run any in our last matches, while I tested the waters with running 3x ash in one of my Crimson King test decks.
6:00 What I think would be fun to mention is while, yes, Dragon Destroyer is essential Skill Drain, it's effect has quite a bit of flavor for its lore. Allow me yo elaborate. The way I see it, after Buster Blader is forced to kill Buster Dragon and fusing with it (as seen in Karma and Fusion), Buster Blader began taking his anger of losing a valuable companion on the dragons he hunts, hence the extra attack buff. Not only that, but because he became more brutal, every dragon he came to face with feared his power for one reason or another, hence the massive floodgate effect, being essentially symbolic of his reputation in the minds of every dragon. But luckily there's a happy ending, as Whelp comes back as a spirit/ghost in Protector Whelp to continue helping their friend.
i feel like exterio is not extremely difficult to pull off anymore with the current naturia support. you can do beast 99% of the time on your first turn. Barkion on the opponents turn. Or your own depending on your draws. And you can fusion with their new spell on either turn.
I was going to make an "And thundering in at #1" joke, but I would have been half right. Expected at least a mention of Thunder Dragon Titan, since it's an evolution of Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. They could errata Colossus to not have the floodgate effect and I'd play it in a heartbeat just to ladder into Titan.
Millennium-Eyes Restrict is also an upgrade in that unlike Thousand-Eyes, it doesn't have the (max 1) restriction for it's equip effect meaning it can trigger it's once per turn absorb effect for multiple turns and equip multiple monsters. Though in ways Millennium-Eyes is a side grade as it's attack blocking ability only affects same name monsters equipped to it while Thousand-Eyes has the effect constantly and for all monsters beside itself. Thousand-Eyes also has a bit of battle protection which Millennium-Eyes lacks. Thousand-Eyes' absorb effect also doesn't 'target'.
Funny enough since i mostly played traptrix in master duel, whenever i would face thunder dragon collosus there he felt like a pushover because his protection wasn't good enough and stopping me from adding cards to the hand didn't matter.
Hey im a recent sub around here just getting back into yugioh (been gone since 5ds ended) been loving watching random videos you have posted throughout the years. Part of my return for real is you for sure. Would love to see a video about ancient gear cards as I always loved them
Summoning both Naturia Beast and Barkion is actually complicated but can be easy to summon: 1) Use DNA Transplant to turn all monsters into an Earth Attribute. 2) Then use a Lvl 3 monster that can be special summon on to your field, then special summon Psychic Tracker. 3) Then use a Lvl 2 or 3 Tuner monster to with Tracker to Synchro Summon Beast or Barkion respectively. 4) Once you do that wait until you get another Tuner monster to Synchro Summon the other monster, then you can Fusion Summon Exterio
Not to mention you can add nemeses corridor to your hand off of Cupid’s pitch, so you’re likely to go into some omni like borreload or baronne and get a free colossus

You can use each of the following effects Once Per Turn (quick effect), but if you do this card cannot attack this turn: This card can ritual summon any 1 ritual monster from your hand/GY: You must also detach materials from this card equal to that cards level. If your opponent would send to the GY, discard/banish/shuffle/tribute/detach or use as material any number of cards for the summon of a monster; detach 2 materials from this card to negate the summon and attach that monster to this card, then you can detach any number of Xyz materials from Xyz monsters you control; attach an equal number cards that would have been used for that summon to this monster. If your opponent would remove this card from the field (by battle or card effect), you can instead detach half of this cards materials (rounded up)._ ATK/0 DEF/0 _X-aulted Hunger_ Continuous trap card _If you special summon a “Relinquished” or “Eyes-Restrict” monster, You can set this card facedown on your field from your hand or deck. While this card is face-up on your field, you can activate each of the following effects once per turn:_ ⚪️ If your opponent would activate a card or effect, you can destroy 1 monster equipped to a “relinquished” monster you control: negate the card/effect. ⚪️ If you control a Fusion “Eyes-restrict” monster equipped with a monster by its own effects, You can tribute it to special summon a fusion monster from your extra deck (This is treated as a fusion summon). ⚪️ If you control a Xyz “Eyes Restrict” monster, you can detach all non-monster Xyz materials from it (min. 2): while this card is face-up on the field, that “Eyes-Restict” monster gains original ATK/DEF equal to the combined ATK/DEF of all monsters attached to it for the next 2 turns. While this effect is active your opponent takes no battle damage from this card. _If this card would be negated/destroyed by or targeted for a card effect, you can unequip/detach all cards from a monster you control instead, then flip this card facedown._
If I understand things correctly, as written currently, the cards equipped to the Xyz materials would fall off and go to the GY when it’s Xyz summoned. Is that intended, or would you need to specify that the equipped monsters become Xyz materials for this card?
DPE is actually a combination of Shining Phoenix Enforcer and Destiny End Dragoon (having an upgraded version of its effect in every fashion). DPE "technically" had the same Fusion Material as DED (Dogma and Plasma can be fused for DPE)
Another evolution of Winged Man like Flaming Winged Dragoon As an alternative to Mariner spawning from Avian and Bubbleman: Crystal Wingman or Glacial Wingman
Buster Blader DDS players also tend to throw in DNA Surgery, just as a way to make sure that the opponent ALWAYS has dragons, even if they manage to remove Buster Dragon from the field.
On Master Duel I play a little deck called "Thunder Tiger Enforcer"! It mainly centres around Thunder Dragon Colossus (through Corridor), King Tiger Wanghu and Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer, using Verte Anaconda as I never seem to draw Fusion Destiny on Dasher and Denier... The way I play it now, I mainly look at using Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning for the removal for Nemeses Corridor, but I am looking to replace Dasher with Malicious for a little more consistency! I'm going to stick with Denier, though, cuz if Verte sticks around until my next turn, I usually Link it off with Denier for Triple Burst Dragon (of which I run a Foil purely to flex) for its Spell/Trap negation and piercing effect! I tag Wanghu up with Light of Intervention and Burden of the Mighty as well as Phoenix's ATK lowering ability, that way, more often than not, when my opponent tries to summon, it'll always be face-up and will likely get instantly destroyed by Tiger for merely existing with such piddly ATK power! And, yes, it is jus a modern take on my GOAT deck, how did you guess!
Whenever Tearlaments are mentioned in these videos, all it really does is give me ideas on how to actually use the deck. Knew about King of the Swamp; didn't think about Shaddolls at all.

Melenium eyes restrict always seem pretty bad to me because with 0atk and Def it's a sitting duck unless the opponent activates a monster effect and it's tough to force a mandatory effect
Tbh people say metamorphosis can't come back because of exterio... Like what level 10 monster can you easily summon other then exodius the ultimate forbidden lord? Later in the turn? Depends on if I need an extender or need to end on something
Danger darkworld can get cyber stein out like 90% of the time. Exterio is definitely worth the 5000 LP. If you go first you can just flat out stop your opponent from playing with something like Apollousa or a barrier statue. It’s really obnoxious to play against and way to easy to pull off. You can brick of course but it almost never happens.
I'd say that the Cyber Dragons have a good list of fusion evolutions. But with the last structure deck called Cyberdark Impact, the game was overall hellish. As the trio fusion, Cyber End Dragon, got a possession-like beef up from Cyberdark(ness) Dragon. They fuse together for a 5k machine that can get even stronger with easy to access support cards. Pile on the activated effect immunity, the ability to attack up to number of equipped cards, and likely an army of other negation cards, it's a BOSS. Also, if the do Xyz, Cyber Dragon Nova to Cyber Dragon Infinity HAS to be on there

I had to pause the video and look up sargas because I was so confused. Thought I might have missed something lol
I still come back to this vid once in a while every time I want to build a new deck that’s fun and nostalgic!
when i was young and would play with friends for fun, the Thunder Dragon was awesome to use because we werent playing with competitive decks, and the idea of getting multiples of this guy and using Axe or something like that really worked out
sometimes we forget how its like when youre just having a good time with card games
It could maybe special summon back one of it's materials to equip itself to it too!
@@nyx2889 and give a construct destruction effect.
Winda -> Daigusto Gulldos -> El Shaddol Winda
Just a little correction.
0:42 ‘A Quick effect in response to an opponents monsters effect’
…so a trigger effect
An honorable mention of the new gate Guardian Fusion would have been cool
Duel Logs is opposed to honorable mentions
Top 10 Link monsters with mostly upward pointing arrows.

Same with eldlich
Top 10 best locked-in archetypal support! E.G. tachyon transmigration, marincess wave, a.i. contact, etc
Honorable mention from Albion the Shrouded Dragon and Albion the Branded Dragon
Don't forget that E-HERO (Shining) Phoenix Enforcer are also counterparts of E-HERO (Shining Flare/) Flame Wingman.
You had my two favortie archetypes in the thumbnail HEROS and Naturia ofc i clicked like and subscribe
Another great video ❤
That will be the day if colossus comes back to 1. Hopefully we get a second video this deserves a second part.
Neat analysis video! Thanks for their uploading!
Hey im a recent sub around here just getting back into yugioh (been gone since 5ds ended) been loving watching random videos you have posted throughout the years. Part of my return for real is you for sure. Would love to see a video about ancient gear cards as I always loved them
Summoning both Naturia Beast and Barkion is actually complicated but can be easy to summon:
1) Use DNA Transplant to turn all monsters into an Earth Attribute.

0:26 Here’s an idea for an Xyz evolution of these cards, along with a support card.
_X-aulted-Eyes Restrict_ (DARK)
Rank 1
Spellcaster/Xyz/Effect
_1+ level 1 monsters with monsters equipped_
_This card gains 500 original ATK/DEF for each material attached to it. If this card would battle an opponents monster, you can instead attach that monster and all cards equipped/attached to it to this card, but this card cannot attack your opponent directly this turn if this effect resolves. If your opponent would remove this card from the field (by battle or card effect), you can instead detach half of this cards materials (rounded up)._
ATK/0 DEF/0
_X-aulted Hunger_
Continuous trap card
_If you special summon a “Relinquished” or “Eyes-Restrict” monster, You can set this card facedown on your field from your hand or deck. While this card is face-up on your field, you can activate each of the following effects once per turn:_
⚪️ If your opponent would activate a card or effect, you can destroy 1 monster equipped to a “relinquished” monster you control: negate the card/effect.

_OH. OH SHIT._
I didn’t realize that would be an issue…
How would I fix that?
some of these choices are something
DPE is actually a combination of Shining Phoenix Enforcer and Destiny End Dragoon (having an upgraded version of its effect in every fashion).
DPE "technically" had the same Fusion Material as DED (Dogma and Plasma can be fused for DPE)

Buster Blader DDS players also tend to throw in DNA Surgery, just as a way to make sure that the opponent ALWAYS has dragons, even if they manage to remove Buster Dragon from the field.
It be cool if he did top cards with umi in the text then we'd see that ocean background all the time
How did none of the Cyber Dragon fusions made the list ?
Cuz they cheeks
DPE is so good that I kept it inside my DM-Branded deck. It's a fun addition
10:15 that hiccup😂
There's also Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon and Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon.

I honestly hate both Naturia Exterio and Thunder Dragon Colossus with a passion. Given I primarily play Pendulums in Master Duel, whenever my opponent summons either of them on the first turn I just concede, given how they just shut down my deck entirely.
Aye PEND BEST DECK LET'S GO!! We need to Summon Trif XD
I love the Thunder Dragon cards, Between them and Exodia Builds, I can beat every character in the Legacy Of The Duelest Link Evolution Game
can you make a top 10 cards that have the most impact on the meta during it release
Melenium eyes restrict always seem pretty bad to me because with 0atk and Def it's a sitting duck unless the opponent activates a monster effect and it's tough to force a mandatory effect
5:25 dragon players will literally quit if you have this card out. Also if you have dragon buster sword and wizard buster equipped to this card.
Tbh people say metamorphosis can't come back because of exterio... Like what level 10 monster can you easily summon other then exodius the ultimate forbidden lord? Like think, also metamorphosis is used to advance a board rather than build one. In most cases if I had to pick between Instant Fusion and Metamorphosis when building a board, Instant Fusion man! Later in the turn? Depends on if I need an extender or need to end on something
Dragoon recently got top 8 at YCS Lima in Labrynth
Danger darkworld can get cyber stein out like 90% of the time. Exterio is definitely worth the 5000 LP. If you go first you can just flat out stop your opponent from playing with something like Apollousa or a barrier statue. It’s really obnoxious to play against and way to easy to pull off. You can brick of course but it almost never happens.
as a thunder dragon player i love this video lol
Can you do top 10 Synchro evolutions? And XYZ?
No top of mil eyes being able to summon led with inst you can use dark core hex to fusion summon it with any effect monster
Didn't expect the first place to be a link monster.😂
