With all the prices going up i have only 3 high end foundations left in my collection ( now i'm testing Nars Light Reflecting one and so far nothing special) , i always repurchase my K-Beauty BB Creams and drugstore foundations but i can't decide which one i like more 😊! Being an foundation/concealer junkie myself i have tested many and i rotate thru them! I can't wait Nyx to release their new bronzers and blushes here in Europe, i've seen only positive reviews!
The two drugstore formulas I've been using and loving (and apologies that they might not be available in your country) are The Cover Girl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence and the Wet N Wild Bare Focus Skin Tint. As this video was playing I was looking to see how much it would be to send you these to try but I was shocked at shipping costs. Now I understand why you don't often order from the US, and that Monolith is so popular.
I have narrowed down my drugstore foundation to Revolution Pro Skin Silk. Though all the buzz about the new elf Soft Glow foundation ($8!) makes me want to try it. I just saw a UK content provider say they are available there, so maybe other places can get them too.
Hi Maaike unfortunately most affordable brands just don’t go pale enough or cool toned enough (unfortunately a lot of high end don’t either). Of the “foundations” shown I own two and both are from Catrice in the lightest shade available online to me. The CT dupe isn’t enough coverage for me as a skin tint, but I like it as a primer or highlight. The actual skin tint is a bit yellow and too drying on my severely dry skin (I can mix it to make it work but it’s a process I can’t be bothered doing regularly). None of the others are pale enough as I am significantly paler than yourself. The only brand in the affordable spectrum who makes a good shade match for me is Revolution (for ref 0.5 is my shade), but they don’t make a foundation or concealer that my dry skin looks good in. I do have the NYX born to glow in the lightest shade which was fine but it’s gone completely here in the UK. Best wishes x
Yes MUR has a great shade range but they suck at doing products for dry skin. I have actually fallen pretty much out of love with them for that reason and because they just release so much product that it can be difficult to tell what is even good.
I am like you... fair with mainly neutral undertone. I like the nyx bare with me tinted skin veil. I use vanilla nude i havent tried any other shade in this so there may be a better match, but the formula is lovely
Good to know you love the NYX Bare With Me so much but that is aimed at oily skin and a dry texture from what I heard online so not something I think will be good for me.
@@FloatinginDreams oh i didnt know it was aimed at oily skin. I have normal/dry skin and it is still a lovely product. Imagine how beautiful it must be on the skin it was formulated for if it works this nice on my skin (and im 43).
I bought the hema under your recommendation and I love it! Unfortunately no color is good for me but I use it o mix with other products. Paid 1 euro for it so Very worth it

I def want to try those NYX bits too. Here to hoping we get them soon.

Yes, if I can order at all that is. Most websites that stock US drugstore products won't even ship here.

ELF is usually pretty good if you go online. Their official website is up to date but things sell out quickly.

Same here!

I'm fair with a cool undertone and I'm a year away from being 40 so I have dryness and oil. Trying to get away from the high end brands.

That's even a better deal! Glad you like it despite it not being a great shade match.

Echt? Ik had dat al heel lang laten intrekken en dat was ook maar een heel dun laagje 😬
Nog maar eens proberen dan!
Yep. Zeker 15 tot 30 minuten laten intrekken. Met name SPF moet je echt goed laten intrekken.
Random question. Can you get the drugstore brand PS??
You mean the Primark brand? I have tried some products but they didn't work for me so I never reviewed them.
@@FloatinginDreams yeah that’s one
