I love these murky green shades. I have a pair of pants in this color, a few sweaters and I have a blouse that's close in coloring as well. It's great for fall.
Yes, I like Maybelline classical lipsticks, they are really long lasting and the formula is great (for both ranges that I've tried). I'm just not really a fan of their liquid ones because I cannot stand dry lips. 😅
Maybelline def make good lipsticks but I feel the colors we can buy are so limited. All the ones I had that I liked were ones I bought in the US that were never released here. The formula is great, but I wish they would do much more interesting colors like they do elsewhere.
Immediately when you said that drugstore can do just as good or better than high-end for "gloss" I was nodding. Absolutely agree!! Lipstick is hit or miss. Really enjoy your channel
Thanks for the video! Unfortunately I agree that catrice and essence lipsticks are not the greatest. I have two essence, one had a weird smell and the other somehow smears al over my face. I bought that black catrice lipstick on your recommendation and while the color and feel is great, staying power is meh. I recently purchased L’Oréal glow paradise lipsticks and they tick all the boxes for me :) it seems mid range is the way to go (I also have a Lisa Eldridge lippie that I absolutely hate.)
I have disliked so many L'Oreal lipsticks over the years (scent, color selection, price point) that I have not been interested in any of them in years. I will have to see if I can source these as I haven't heard of these yet. Still, L'Oreal lipsticks are about as much as a MAC lipstick here which I don't even really consider to be drugstore.
Have you found anything similar to the Catrice power plumping (drugstore or high end) when it comes to texture/how they feel on the lips? I watched your video about these a long time ago, and fell in love with how they are enough colour but still sheer, plumping and last quite long on the lips. And they are hydrating too. I have used at least 5 of a my-lips-but-better number 110 , but now they are gone and I struggle to find a replacement. Thanks for your wonderful content, it is lovely as a Norwegian to have information about items easyer to get in this side of the world 😊
No I haven't sadly, which is why I am happy I still have two backups. But in terms of formula the only things I have found that comes close are high end/ luxury price point things like the Gucci Voile or Lisa Eldridge Luxuriously Lucent.
Aside from Catrice, Essence and Kiko my favorites are from Artdeco Perfect Color, Nyx Shout Loud and Nyx Suede Matte lines. Bourjois Rouge Velvet are also good as bullet matte lipsticks, but I don't enjoy their scent.
I have never tried Artdeco (a bit difficult to buy here) but NYX has some good lip products as well. I just don't often like their shade selections. I mean, I don't need another nude or red lipstick in my collection. I want other things.
I bought my first 3INA products from Zalando when they had a sale on. But overall the prices I've seen are all quite similar. It's closer in price point to Maybelline and L'Oreal than Essence and Catrice.
@@FloatinginDreams I wanted to ask you I bought the catrice fluid glow Charlotte Tilbury dupe foundation but how are you supposed to use it I might sound dull but there is no coverage to it are you supposed to wear it under foundation as I ain’t got a cluez
I have only 3 lipglosses in my makeup kit 2 are from Essence and 1 is a mint one from Catrice ! I wear matte lipsticks , i don't like shiny lips on me ! I believe i'am the only one, because people love these lip oils and lipgloses so much nowadays.
I love that color of that sweater on you!!! I think I want to wear colors like that even as a neutral-warm❤

I'm with you in liking mostly Kiko and Catrice for drugstore lipsticks, but also like Maybelline.

I know right?! Drugstore just does some things so much better than high end.

3ina is available on Zalando but I don't know if the priced will match the UK prices. As we know, prices in the EU tend to be higher.

You can wear is as primer, a highlighter or as a base. I like it mostly as the last option on a good skin day with just a touch of concealer.
Try shade kiko 3d gloss 43 limited edition ….
Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm also thinking a lot about visiting Japan, and as it seems next year will be kind of too busy for me to do so, but maybe 2025.
Same here 2025 may be the year for me.
@@FloatinginDreams Fingers crossed!

I happen to like both. My matte lipsticks still get worn most often though.
