My favorite things about this line from MS General are the theme and the fact it gives you molds to make two separate figures in box. Kotobukiya could take notes.

Huh, wasnt too excited by the official product pictures but seeing it build OOB I really like it! Color seperation is impressive, colors themselves look great, body type is different from the usual, enough parts for both forms AND its fairly cheap. This is objectively a great kit.
I actually like the giant helmet for the non-armored version, it gives it some character. I prefer the armored head, but I think I prefer the giant bowl hat to a correctly fitting hat.
the Raider of Shadow line is based on the Chinese zoodiac which are the ones shown on the picture (the first one was based on the Ox (the 2nd card) and this one is the Mouse. Next one in the line is already revealed to be Bunny
They have a lot of line going in the ms general 👍 this one is of the zodiac signs: RAT I have their seven deadly sins line, ms general gluttony and it has a Mecha Anubis ✨ and a throne 👌 very much worth it for their price range too MS General is a well recommend brand ✨
1:38 I think these are the upcoming and existing Raider of Shadow series of MS General kits, not the whole MS General series. The Raider ones are based on the eastern zodiac and the older ones are based on the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms.
Cool kit. I think, what some elements separately looks so-so, but in together they looks impressive. Very funny series with different characters. In some things much better, than kotobukiya.
I would love to see more kits like this where they actually put effort into the unarmored version since so many unarmored mecha musume just look like the girl in a skintight swimsuit or bodysuit. I'm pretty sure the Japanese text is just to appeal to weebs and possibly make it seem Japanese to the international market. The manga is in Chinese so their target market can actually read it.
also remember that the MS General are based on characters from Romance of The Three Kingdoms whom the majority are guys but MS General gender-swap them into girls because anime otaku culture tastes, lol.

MS General is quickly becoming one of my favorite model kit lines.

I haven't built any MS General kits yet, but I have the Xiahou coming sometime this week. And hopefully the Rabbit girl pretty soon. So cute.
