Just bought one. Awaiting the arrival. Love the small size. And it’s so inexpensive, that I won’t feel bad about not playing it every time I have a free moment. I’m sure a lot of you can relate 😄
controlling the s-1 via the j-6 both sound gorgeous together. really goos stuff from roland. I once dated the most gorgeous babe for two years based on me boasting I had roland synths (she loved roland synths and Duran Duran)
I own em all and i love em all, much better than the volca series , (i own em all too)tiny little beasts great for live connected into a midi keyboard (T8 drum maschine no need to be conected though ) .🎉
Great! But no bass or supersaw=no buy. Roland appealing to the budget masses. I want a new JP-8000 with 49 keys Mr. Roland- 2023 with at least 16 voices for about $1500. Thanks
@@htechdance there’s an Access Virus polar Ti keyboard on Reverb for $1330. I’ve seen the full keyboard sell for $1500. $1800 more commonly but that’s a small stretch.
@@NunyaB1s Never fear, I just started an expensive hobby other than music and am still far from paying off my Take 5 and Kross 2 I just purchased so it will likely be an eternity before I buy/sell more gear. Have a nice week!
you edited the video, you didn't let the world see the reality....when you change the sound, the parameters from the potentiometers are no longer the same and you can't make the connection from one sound to another.....all the new range has this handicap , no one asked for the rotary potentiometers, but still you can't get over that serious problem.... it's a joke from Roland

в России это половина зарплаты, поэтому подход к покупке очень обдуманный😂
Think it’s the most interesting out the series
@0:57 - Sold! Take me to the checkout, now! 😂
I was sold on the literal first note. Might go get one tomorrow!
Lovely experiment mate with a lovely toy..
Respect from Glasgow 👌👌
Thank you for the great demo!
These are all lovely sounds ... and I have absolutely no desire to make these sounds on a synth without a MUCH larger filter cutoff knob.
Sounds gorgeous ! ❤

Nice demo 👍

If you want all that just buy a Virus Ti used. Better than a JP in every way with ~80 note polyphony.
@@NunyaB1s I don't want to buy anymore keyboardless synths. I suppose if I had 3 grand laying around, I'd try the Darkstar.

I expect the Virus line to go on close out soon anyway so if you’re patient you could get a bargain.
